We hired Carpet Pro to deep clean the carpets in my late father's property before putting it on the market. I'll break this review into two parts:
Carpet Cleaning Results:
While we knew some stains from heavy foot traffic and spills would be challenging, Carpet Pro gave us confidence by claiming they could make a "massive improvement" and offering a satisfaction guarantee, promising to return within the same week if we were unsatisfied. Unfortunately, the results were very disappointing.
Not only did they fail to address the worst areas, but they also spread dirt onto previously clean sections of the carpet that had been covered by furniture for years. Even worse, they left a blue ink/chemical stain on one carpet and on the back door.
We eventually rented a Rug Doctor from a local supermarket, and the difference was night and day—far superior to what this so-called "professional" service provided.
Property Damage:
The bigger issue, however, was the damage to the walls and skirting boards caused by a clear lack of care from their operatives. While we expected some minor scuffs on the skirting boards, akin to what you'd get from regular vacuuming, we were shocked by the number of deep marks, especially on our freshly decorated walls. This included damage on the stairwell where their equipment clearly bounced off the walls multiple times.
We immediately notified Carpet Pro about the damage the following morning, offering photographic evidence. However, their response was dismissive, claiming that because we had signed their job sheet, we were acknowledging that the work was completed to our satisfaction and no damage had occurred. In reality, the job sheet was nothing more than a basic receipt and made no mention of satisfaction or damage.
As we are preparing to market the property, we had no choice but to pay for urgent repairs. The decorator's costs to fix the damage exceeded the cost of the entire carpet clean.
To make matters worse, Carpet Pro refused to provide their insurance details, preventing us from filing a claim for the damage. Despite offering them several opportunities to resolve the issue amicably, they only offered a partial refund for two rooms and continued to hide behind their irrelevant job sheet.
We are now pursuing this matter through small claims court and are sharing our experience to warn others.

Thank you for your response, but I feel some important points need to be clarified.
First, while I appreciate that the lounge carpet was in poor condition, the issue isn’t that it wasn’t returned to a “like new” state. It’s that the work failed to meet the basic standard expected of a professional cleaning service. Instead of improving the carpets, dirt was spread into previously clean areas, and blue ink or chemicals were left on the carpet and back door. These issues go far beyond the condition of the carpet itself.
Regarding the damage, it’s true that we didn’t wait for you to inspect it the next day, as we were under time constraints due to the property being prepared for market. However, the urgency of repairs does not absolve you of responsibility. Photographic evidence was provided immediately, and your sign-off sheet does not negate liability for the damage caused by your team.
You mentioned offering a full refund, but this is misleading. The offer was conditional on me removing honest reviews, which is unethical and unacceptable.
Finally, while I understand your defense of professional-grade equipment, the results speak for themselves. A basic rental machine produced far better results than the service you provided. The comparison isn’t about the tools used—it’s about the outcome achieved.
I stand by my reviews, as they reflect my genuine experience. If you’d like to resolve this matter constructively, I am still open to reasonable discussion.

Terrible company
Interesting my review hasn’t been posted because it was a bad review on carpet clean.
I was persistently texted to remind me of my appointment which had been booked in for weeks, I was texted a few days before the appointment to confirm it which we did.
Carpet clean then cancelled my appointment with less than 12 hours notice and the excuse was ‘they booked in a bigger job in the morning and couldn’t make my confirmed appointment’
Tried to text the owner and reason with him but he wouldn’t budge and cancelled my appointment with less than 12hrs notice!
In fact we still have all the correspondences if carpet clean deny anything which we would be happy to share :)

Excellent work
It has now been 48 hours since our clean and to say I am pleased is an understatement.
I had the lounge carpet and two CREAM settee's and one arm chair cleaned.
The settee had so many marks on it - especially water marks from my 20 month old granddaughter.
Now all gone and settee looks new and fresh again. Smell in the room is lovely as well.
Booking was easy and you get a reminder before cleaning day. The gentleman that came was polite, courteous and helpful.
Very happy customer that will be back.

Easy booking system
Easy booking system. Preparing for the arrival of baby and whilst our rugs and sofa did not look unclean, we were pleased with the result which ended up looking and smelling fresh, especially the stairs runner! The following day, we noticed that the sofa arm still had a couple of small marks, but these were not visible whilst the sofa was damp following completion of the clean. Otherwise, pleased with the professional service and well priced.

Very happy with my carpets after the clean thank you. We board dogs and carpets get so dirty but the end result was better than I had hoped for. Reasonably priced too.

I was disappointed (heartbroken) we didn’t have all those lovely carpet diamonds lines done to the carpet for a finishing touch that is advertised in the pictures, The man had put all equipment away and then asked for a walk around to check the carpets, By that point it seemed unfair to request the carpet diamonds/lines as he had packed everything away :( gutted but apart from that will be using again!
