Very disappointing experience
Very disappointing experience
I usually enjoy shopping at Carter’s, but this time the experience has been extremely frustrating. I placed an order on their website, but it was never processed — even though $430 was charged from my card. It’s already been a week, and I still haven’t received my refund.
I contacted customer service several times, but they keep sending the same automated reply without actually resolving the issue. I really hope Carter’s will take this more seriously and help return my money soon.
Won’t reply to emails
Will not respond to emails. One dress arrived with no size tag and did not fit. Have sent several emails with no response
After spending 3 hours online picking…
After spending 3 hours online picking out my niece's clothes, which was a nightmare because their sight is horrific and non user-friendly and slow, you might as well just go to the store yourself. It refused my credit card which 3 times which never happens. There's more than enough room. I will never order from this icky place again.

misrepresented
Item I ordered for my baby grandaughter, was delivered today. Jumpsuit described as having strong snaps on legs. well, there were no snaps on legs, so her mother will have to take off whole jumpsuit to change her. item misrepresented
I Felt Harassed after Negative Review
I ordered 2T T-shirts from the Little Planet line. One of them had seams already coming undone upon arrival. The shirts were also incredibly small and barely cleared the top of my daughter’s diaper; she still fits into 18-24 month onesies and 2T is still usually very big on her. I received an email asking for feedback and I submitted honest feedback. Carters Consumer Affairs emailed me to “address” the concern and asked for photos. I sent photos and never heard back.
I then submitted a negative review of the item for the Website. Consumer Affairs emailed me multiple times demanding photos, UPCs, item numbers, etc. I never asked for a refund or any recourse, mind you. I told them I had already sent photos and never asked for a refund, and they still emailed demanding photos and UPCs (they don’t have their own way of finding UPCs for their items?).
I finally had to tell them to stop harassing me and told them to close my account. They told me to go to the website to close my account and the website told me to ask them to close my account. In my opinion, they are a nightmare and not worth the time for shoddy $5 full exposure belly shirts for toddlers.

I recently read that the Carter's store slices all the children's clothes they throw away so the poor cannot reuse them. That's the message I feel reading this article. I'd be so ashamed of myself knowing this, to ever shop for a company like yours. That's your Character glowing for the world to see. How unimaginably insane of your poor morals or ethics for that matter.
Garden centre stone chippings in broad bean seed packet as well as 3 broken seeds brseed
I bought the seeds recently at one of the shops while I was out in Worthing for the day . I was surprised to find the small square chunks of stone the same size as the seeds as well as a number of broken ones in the pack which was quite small for beans anyway . I will now have to buy some more now to ensure a decent result.

Carters doesn’t value their customers
Carter’s now charges a $2.99 fee to get a statement. If you use their card they charge you to get the bill. The only way around this is to set up an online account with your personal information.
They are not concerned with losing customers (after initially saying thank you for being a great customer).
This grandma will not be shopping there anymore. Since I closed my account, my daughter won’t be shopping there either. Customers just don’t matter to Carter’s.
Thieves
Thieves. Everybody that I know including my large family will never step foot in there again.
Fell inside Springfield PA store
I fell INSIDE their store shopping for my grand kids, was injured, made to stay to fill out an incident report instead of tending to my injuries but wasn’t allowed to receive a copy.
Carters never contacted me for ANY reason. Carters staff stayed their insurance company would reach out but they have not.
Carters you should have concern for your customers and the safety of your store. You lack professionalism and general decency.
I hope grandparents shop elsewhere. If you have an incident inside this store call the police because that is the only way you will be provided evidence of any incident. PATHETIC
TERRIBLE customer service
I’ve been a long time customer of carters long before I even had my son. In November I purchased a 2 piece snow suit appropriately sized for him. I put it on him but he couldn’t walk or more AT ALL. I didn’t think much of it as I assumed that was the case for all/most children. We took him outside for multiple winter activities and he refused to attempt to walk - because he couldn’t. Resulting in us bringing a stroller or wagon or toboggan of some sort. My boy loves the outdoors so seeing him miserable in the snow made me upset. Over the course of the last couple of months at daycare his teachers said he was not himself crying outside on the corner perfectly still. I asked if he was the only one not able to move in his snowsuit and she said yes, all the other kids are able to move freely. Maybe see if ordering another one would help. We did order one - a different brand. He could jump run play in it no problem. The daycare told me this made a huge difference and he’s finally enjoying outside again. This was over the course of 2 months which is a long time to be miserable outside. When I was speaking to the teacher another parent chimed in saying ‘is it a carters snow suit by any chance?’ I said yes and she said she has the same experience - that for some reason their snowsuits are super stiff and she had to repurchase one for her son as well. Other parents then chimed saying they also experienced this , and we all agreed that it’s ridiculous because they’re not cheap! I emailed customer service explaining my frustrations & guilt with allowing my son to just stand outside miserable for 2+ months. They then asked me for ‘proof’. I said I have no proof besides the couple of videos showing him in a stroller or toboggan refusing to move vs him in his new snowsuit freely running and jumping around, which I had sent to them. They then responded saying my claim had been rejected but offered me a 25% off coupon. I think that’s RIDICULOUS that a million dollar company can’t reimburse me 100$ for a snow suit that I had to buy 2 of and the many other parents complaining about the stiffness of this snowsuit. My poor kid couldn’t move in the freezing cold and now we have spent nearly 250$ on snow gear for one season. TERRIBLE and I will no longer be a customer.
Crooks
At the cash did not get 25% discount as advertised.
Ordered on line, said would be there in 4 days. Shipment never arrived and received a cancelation notice for 3 of the 4 orders. Out of stock.
Never again, I'm done with them, their crooks.
I have paid for an order 30/11/24 when…
I have paid for an order 30/11/24 when I've tried to track order it doesn't recognise it. I've emailed every form of contact for this company and no response. So taken my money and no Christmas present. Terrible way to run a company with zero customer care.
Took money no goods and no refund
I ordered and never received, so contacted company and they said that due to some logistics my item hasn't been dispatched and they would refund me within 3 to 10 days, I haven't received my refund and they are now ignoring all my emails, there's no contact number to talk to anyone!!
Online order with no delivery!
I placed an online order on the 9th November with a 4/5 day delivery. I tried to track it a few days ago and it's not recognising my order. I messaged and they said it was out for delivery and if I didn't get it that day then I would in the next day or so - nothing! I've tried to track again, nothing. I've since asked for a tracking number or refund and I've heard nothing! Terrible service!! I will be taking this further!
VERY POOR business practices
VERY POOR business practices, returned items over a month ago, have contacted them with proof of return and I still have no contact from the returns department and no credit. They have lost our business and trust along with family and friends. As a senior on a limited income this is very distressing and wrong for not only me but anyone! I would not trust this company with even the smallest of purchases!
The young lady Leana is very nice. The older blond lady not so nice.
The young lady Leana is very nice and gives great customer service. The older lady with blonde hair is horrible. She does not smile, rude and she clearly is not in the right milieu. Customer service is not her strong point.
The store was empty not because of the availabity of nice things or presentation of the store, but maybe it is the way she is. Disgusting . I would go elsewhere to buy clothes for my grand kids.
After spending an hour shopping online…
After spending an hour shopping online I found out during checkout they don't accept debit. What large online service doesn't accept debit?!
