Sadly the customers get a fantastic service at the expense of some workers,8€ a hour,no contract,so no access to socal security.

Thinking about Casa Monte Cristo brings a smile to my face instantly. I have been a few times with my family and each time is unique, filled with as much adventure as we could pack in coupled with incredibly relaxing down time.
Every face is a friendly one, the welcome is the warmest one you could imagine. The attention to detail goes above and beyond the norm- with anything you could ever want to do, eat, see all taken care of to a standard that leaves you wondering why you would ever go home. This place is a true treasure.

Quite simply, it's better than any words or pictures can describe.

When you need to stop
When you need to reboot
When you need to have time to....
When you need space to think
When you need to be in a place that says yes... to everything
When you need to laugh so hard you cry (and other things!)

And all those other things you need to make time for but don't..... people to spend time with but don't...... things you need to do but don't.....

Casa Monte Christo says yes.

The arrival is like a welcome home. The venue choice is staggering - best, best or best?. The attention to detail is 100%. The promises on the brochure are beyond fulfilled and finally... the people! You deal with uncomplicated, true, kind, honest people who care. No agenda, just good people doing a good job and it's always all about you!

I cannot rate the stays we have had in Casa Monte Christo high enough.
We live a daily life of big decisions and lots hanging in the balance in the world of medicine. Going out to Casa Monte Christo allows time to recharge, laugh hard, and start again, fresh! That is why we keep returning!

we chose the Casa Monte cristo in the summer of 2019 to have our wedding reception. we stayed here for the week and held out wedding reception in the beautiful gardens. Our day was perfect from start to finish and couldn't of asked for a more beautiful perfect location. The villa is very spacious and what sold it to us was the outside pool area and gardens. The location is very peaceful and quiet and only a 10 minute drive down to Largos Centre. The only thing we found difficult was getting taxis on an evening down to Largos, if you don't hire a car it can be a little isolated. A perfect villa for a perfect holiday, or wedding.

My husband and I got married at Casa Monte Cristo in August 2019, hiring all four villas. During the lead up to the wedding, Deirdre was fantastic - she was always quick to respond to our many queries and was so helpful. She wasn't afraid to tell us when she didn't think our ideas would quite work and make suggestions on how things might work better. We had sent several photos of flowers, cakes, table decorations and Deirdre managed to recreate every single one perfectly. Deirdre made planning an overseas wedding very easy for us!

The wedding itself was everything we had hoped for and more, Deirdre and the team were brilliant. We had our ceremony on the balcony of CMC 3, post-ceremony drinks in the grounds of CMC 3 and then all walked down to CMC 1 for the wedding breakfast and evening do. We had just over 60 guests attend and all were very impressed with the whole day.

The villas are all beautiful, they all have their own style. All of the villas, grounds and pools were cleaned to a very high standard. The food we were served at the wedding and on the following day at a BBQ was exceptional, we were so impressed with everything!

We couldn't recommend a stay or wedding at Casa Monte Cristo highly enough, and we certainly hope to return soon!

Thanks to Deirdre and her team, planning our dream wedding in Portugal from thousands of miles away was a breeze! Whether it was decorating, catering, bar service, or accommodations, Deirdre was there ensuring every detail was paid the proper attention. The day of our wedding, we didn't have to worry about a thing--it was all planned out and each phase transitioned smoothly to the next. We had brunch on the patio, our ceremony up on the conservatory deck, photos taken around the beautiful grounds, and a delightful dinner out on the lawn. Casa Monte Cristo provided us an ideal setting for our big day--a spacious yet cozy retreat perched high above Lagos.

We have been staying annually with the Casa Monte Cristo villas for seven years. Impeccable customer service both before our trips and during our stay. The villas are beautiful, clean and private. Can’t recommend them enough.

We can't thank Deirdre, Milton and the Casa Monte Cristo team enough for making our wedding day the best day of our lives. Planning our wedding with the team was completely stress-free and very enjoyable. The food was delicious, service was exceptional and the organisation was impeccable - we could not have done it without you!

Lovely villas and apartments in a beautiful setting. So clean and well looked after. Very warm and friendly staff who will help you with any questions or needs you have. The location is very peaceful and just a short car ride to the wonderful beach at Praia da Luz or to the lovely town of Lagos. Lots to do for couples or families. Highly recommend.

This is a truly beautiful place to stay. The team are so helpful from the very first enquiry to stay at the villa and throughout your stay, nothing is too much trouble. The location is perfect, close to lots of great things to do but in a really peaceful setting.

Lovely accommodation set close to all local facilities Very attentive friendly owner and staff. Spotlessly clean. Ideal for families and or groups of friends.

The attention to detail and service at Casa Monte Cristo is faultless. The villa was extremely well serviced and is in a great secluded spot on the top of Mont Fuchal. Anything my family and I wanted to know or do was arranged for us making the whole holiday relaxing from the very fits day.
Cant recommend a holiday here enough. this part of the Algarve is still relatively un spoilt but to be honest we didnt really want to leave the Villa much!!
