Had a flat tyre and had to leave car in Uppingham in the evening, I didn't know about Castle Car Care. A local tipped me off, I texted the number on the website and got a reply shortly after, inviting me to drop in next morning, so I took my car there, pumping up the tyre to make it safe. The place is spotlessly clean, very professional and from simply looking at the outside, the owner diagnosed the problem, a drill bit gone through the tyre, all I could see and feel was a bit of metal sticking out. Wheel removed from car, with caution about possible damage from driving on it, drill bit removed and tyre and wheel checked for rim damage, found to be safe and puncture fixed in a jiffy, and I was back on my way, fraction of the cost of a new tyre and a massive and positive contrast to the customer service of a large motoring retail chain who had let me down more than the drill bit. Definitely my go-to place for new tyres.

Went to have my motorhome bonnet resprayed as paint was peeling off. Amazing service and kept me up to date with progress. Friendly professional service. End result they did an amazing job and even cleaned headlights aswell as resprayed wing mirror covers at no additional cost. Thank you to Ian and his team

You can only go by the service you receive and every time I used Castlecarcare the experience has been good. Virtually every time I’ve used them it’s been at short notice and they’ve done exactly what I asked them to do. The wheel alignment they did for me has made the car drive like new again despite another garage having 2 attempts and seemingly making it worse. Great service by competent people.

Castle Care fitted me in on the day for an MOT due to a cancellation. I also had my tyres checked as I knew they were due for a change and decided to go ahead with the recommended Falken Azenis FK520 tyre with which I am very happy, after only using Continental tyres for the last 11 years! Great customer service with a no-nonsense practical approach which I really appreciated. I know quite a bit about cars so it was very refreshing not to get any bamboozling and just honest advice. Very competitive pricing too. Thank you, Castle Care! I shall be recommending you!

Avoid at all costs, friend went to get her MOT done and the guy said her car is really dangerous and she shouldn’t drive it out of his garage because it was so bad. Said £2500 to get the car through the MOT. She decided against it and went to her usual garage who done everything to get the car through the MOT for £350. Guy is trying to take advantage of people who don’t know cars. Definitely wouldn’t trust this garage!

My brother was quoted £1500 for a turbo for his car , got the work done elsewhere for £ 600 , he then returned for an mot which failed on an issue with a light for which he was quoted £ 200 to rectify, the light was fixed elsewhere free of charge as the problem was merely a loose connection, and when he returned the car for re test today and was charged £ 25 for the re test

Well and truly ripped me off paid £538 quid to have my rear brakes sorted out bill went from 200-538 .took the invoice to another garege and found out I’d been ripped off over 350 quid avoid this place at all cost.just for a laugh I rung up got a quote for a back box with fitting 200 other garege 105 quid .absolutely ripped me well off

I had an annoying slow puncture on holiday from Norfolk. A garage in Morcott couldn't help and suggested John at Castle Car Care. I arrived around 8am and he could not have been more helpful. He had the wheel off in no time, found the culprit (a nail), whipped it out and plugged the hole. All before his opening time of 8.30, and at a knockdown price of £19.99. I could not have been more impressed or grateful. This has saved our holiday.

The service I received from John and his team was second to none. They were efficient, friendly & helpful and best of all knowledgeable & fair.

This is the best garage I've come across in many (many!) years of car ownership - and the blessing is that they are only a mile away. Twice recently they have sorted out unexpected car emergencies with such huge efficiency, speed and courtesy . Why did no one tell me about them years ago?? Everyone I've sung their praises to already seems to know about them and are just as impressed as I am.

Had an issue with my heater. Drove down to castle car care and was seen straight away problem fixed in less than an hour. Great service from the guys will be my go to for all my services & MOT needs in the future.

An excellent Rutland company that has strong links with the local community and looks after the Uppingham Hopper bus. The staff team has provided great service up to now. Long may it continue.
