I have recently attended a first aid course with catastrophic bleed, the course was presented by Shaun and I would say that it's the most well presented course that I have attended. Shaun used his experience as a medic to explain and demonstrate most aspects of the course. I would definitely recommend Castleford training solutions to anyone looking for any courses around the workplace.

Did frec3 few months ago now with Shaun. The course was very knowledgeable and give me and others great life saving skills..

I work with a private ambulance company doing patient transport from hospitals. Unfortunately 2 weeks ago, me and my colleagues (who was also frec3 trained by Shaun) took a patient home who suffered a massive heart attack when we got her home, due to training that Shaun provided we was able to quickly see the signs and immediately cpr and set the defibrillator up, whilst waiting for emergency services too turn up.

What a fantastic course from start to finish!

From dissecting a lambs heart to reading ecgs with ease from the fantastic Harry FG Vines .

I really enjoyed this course. As after passing my FREC4 since I have not had the chanse to do much 12 lead ECG so it was good for me to top up.

But this course didn’t just reinforce my knowledge, it made ECGs easier to understand, as Harry, the tutor, was able to explain it in far greater detail than ever did my FREC4 trainer, while also learning things I did not already know. Cutting open a heart made for an entertaining way to learn, and doing so also increased my knowledge by leaps and bounds.

In fact, I’m honest enough with myself to say that I thought this course was 100 times better than my FREC4 to learn to do a 12 lead ECG – and I wish I’d been taught this way first.

A Paramedic who so obviously knows his stuff as Harry did made a huge difference to the learning experience – and I’m already looking forward to taking training again from CTS. The courses are comprehensive and interesting, the trainers are experienced and knowledgeable, and passionate!

What a fantastic course. Having completed my FREC4 I have not had much chance to practice using 12 lead ECG, so it was great to top up my knowledge.
However, this course didn't just top up my knowledge, it actually helped to make it easier to understand ECG's as it was explained by Harry, the educator in a much clearer way than during my FREC4 course, and I was taught things that I wasn't before. I really enjoyed having to dissect a heart, and doing so also helped to gain a much better level of knowledge.
If I'm completely honest I found this course to be 100 times better than my FREC4 for learning how to do a 12 lead ECG, and I wish I had been taught this way before.
Having a Paramedic who clearly knows the subject as well as Harry does really did make a big impact on my learning experience and I'm already looking forward to doing more courses with CTS. The courses they offer are great, delivered by trainers who have loads of knowledge and passion.

FREC 3 Training Course.

Took part of this course to further my skill set and it did not disappointing. A fantastic and informative course with a great trainer who kept the interaction and interest going. Not only are you getting the training you are getting the 1st hand experience aswell.

The Practical and theatrical parts of the course really do put you in a situation that tests your skills. It could not get more real. Brilliant course, outstanding props and scenes and fantastic learning

We met Shaun who was teaching us frec 3, the course was fantastic especially the practical’s really hoping we can start doing our frec 4 with shaun very soon, thank you

Training scenarios were very realistic and well thought out ,shauns delivery was clear and informed ,a good hands on practical way of learning with good equipment which has been heavily invested in

An Excellent ILS training day for FREC 4s at Castleford Training Solutions. Shaun is an engaging knowlefgeable trainer whom invites two way input at all times into all discussions. Great practical training aids and realistic Moulage kit. The training delivery was excellently paced culminating in a couple of realistic medical scenarios. Balanced discussion with practicals that made the day fly past extremely fast. I highly Recommend Shaun and his team.

Shaun is an incredibly knowledgable trainer who has clear passion about the subject and loves to share his knowledge. His cat bleed simulation was like nothing I had seen before and really put a rel life spin on the course. Thanks shaun.

An easy 5-stars!

In a word, excellent - a sentiment shared by the entire group. We were in Shaun's capable hands for the Mental Health First Aid training, which was spread over two half-day sessions. We felt the level of detail and information was perfect - it tested us and opened our eyes to a few things. The communication was brilliant, clear, and at the perfect pace. We all left deep in conversation, educated and confident and feeling good - to help ourselves, each other and those around us - again, all thanks to Shaun. a very very easy 5-stars (I wish we could put more!).

ID CARDS
We have had dealings with CTS in the past and when we found out that they could also supply bespoke ID cards we were intrigued. The print quality is fantastic and the security holograms really make it look professional. Well done and thanks.

As a company we have been looking over the last 12 months for another company to put our ambulance care assistants through their Frec3 course.
We came across CTS arranged a meeting and agreed to book a course.
I myself sat the course and found it to be so much better than the last course I sat 3 years ago for the same thing.
Our ACA's who also sat the course along with the Office Manager and the Director ALL commented on how well the course was presented and in a way that they ALL could get involved.
We was that impressed with the course and presentation we decided to booked another 2 courses for the start of the new year.
