I could not rate Caversham Moves more highly! From the quoting, to answering all of our many queries, to the fantastic service on the day. Nothing was too much trouble for the guys, they worked so hard, were really polite and helpful - it was such a smooth operation we were very impressed. Would highly recommend!

Jason and team couldn’t have been more professional, helpful and courteous. A highly recommend company. Would 100% use them again.

Packing our house:
When Jason and his amazing team came the day before our official completion date, we didn’t know what to expect when they packed up our cottage. When my wife and I arrived later that evening, we were in disbelief at how well managed, tidy and professional the job had been done. Our night sleep, although one of excitement, was completely relieved of stress thanks to Caversham Moves.

Moving our house:
On completion day, we were greeted by Jason, Miles, Gary and Paul. My wife and I couldn’t have been greeted by better men for the job. They came with smiles, energy and best of all… the best sense of humour. We supplied the tea and coffee (and in Gary’s case Ribena!) and they were set. By 11:30 they had emptied our whole house, yet still managed to stop at every occasion to speak to us and answer any queries. They were simply brilliant.
Later that day we moved in with, again, with absolute piece of mind - boxes were labelled and placed in the right rooms as well as furniture rebuilt.

All in all, what an excellent service - couldn’t recommend them more. We would use them again, without thought.

Prompt, careful and efficient. Took very good care of our belongings and got the job done quickly. We had just redecorated and they were extremely careful with the walls and new flooring. Very pleasant to deal with. A world apart from our previous movers. Will definitely use them again.

We were recommended to Caversham Moves by family members who had used the firm and were really pleased with the service we received. In all our communications the team was pleasant, courteous, reassuring and helpful. The team was punctual in all the arrangements. The packing was done well and with great care. We were amazed that on the day it took just 2 hours to load the van and again 2 hours to unload and place the furniture - including a piano. Helpful advice was given about the best arrangement of the furniture in the new property.

The whole team at Caversham are fantastic and they have moved us twice now.
Our most recent move was from Twyford to Wiltshire and I can't explain how fast, well organise and brilliant they are. The whole team, Gary, Robin, Karlyle, Robson and Myles were fast, calm, and helpful throughout and really made our move a smooth and happy experience. Can't fault them and the team in particular.

The guys were fantastic. Came to pack up majority of our things on Saturday then moving on Monday was an absolute breeze. I cannot recommend Caversham Moves enough. They were careful with our stuff and very careful with our pets too.

Polite, helpful staff, took apart furniture as needed, protected it securely then checked everything had been removed to my satisfaction before leaving the house. All items moved to their correct position upon arrival. Highly recommended.

Josh and Jason were really professional and helpful throughout the booking, packing and removals. Overall we were happy with the process, one that is inevitably stressful. The few small issues (staff member not turning up for packing, chipped paintwork moving out and a van needing swapping for a bigger one) were dealt with without fuss and didn’t effect the overall efficiency. The team was friendly and polite throughout the 2 days and even with a 1.5 hour drive to the new house and a 3 lorries, they had finished by 18.30. Thank you.

We had a great experience with Caversham Moves. We had a couple of companies come and quote but Josh stood out as the most helpful and engaging, and I was keen to support a local independent company. We did the part packing service which was the best decision we could have made - Gary went over and above to make sure we were ready for the move the next day. On moving day, the team of 3 were so upbeat and happy, they were a delight to have and to be honest made any anxieties over moving day disappear. Nothing was too much trouble, they were polite and courteous and a great team! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend. Top job!

Josh and his team from Caversham Moves were excellent; good humoured and efficient. Josh and the Team at Caversham Moves were fantastic from start to finish. If/when we move again, they will be one of my first calls. We used their self pack service, boxes were dropped off in good time before the move with plenty of packing materials. On the move day the team turned up on time and were professional and light hearted - exactly why we needed on what can be a very stressful day. They took great care moving my wife’s piano which is a valued heirloom. At the other end they were equally great and all the furniture was reassembled quickly and the team checked in regularly to make sure items and boxes were going on the rooms that we needed them to be in. Honestly, I can’t recommend them enough!

The most stress free move we have ever done and, have already recommended Caversham Moves to family and friends. From the moment of contacting Josh at Caversham I knew we were making the right choice of companies. Everything went like clockwork, Josh is excellent at handling the time leading up to exchange, which was put off many times for us. He kept us up to date with all availability, even outlining different ways they could manage our move. Jason and his team were very professional and took great care with all the packing, which we had opted for. There was a lot of dismantling of furniture and rebuilding the other end which was just over 2 hours away. I really don't know how they kept up the energy levels but they did and the enthusiasm to get the job done and make sure everything was perfect and just the way we wanted it, was wonderful. They are all a credit to their industry.
