A thoroughly enjoyable experience
I'm an 11-year-old girl. When I first had my test for ADHD, it was a really nice experience, and the lady (Karen) who did it was super nice. She brought lots of things like games and fidgets for the test. Once I got the diagnosis and I started working with the pharmacist (Claire), she was really nice and helpful. She told me all I needed to know and helped me figure out the right level of medication that I needed. Working with her and the medication she prescribed for me really helped with everything and how I feel on a day to day basis. I am a lot happier than I was before. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience with CAYP and would definitely recommend it.

Professional, helpful and thorough
As a family we sought an ADHD assessment for our daughter through CAYP. Tania was very thorough and professional in her approach, supporting myself and my daughter throughout the process. Our daughter struggles massively with her mental health and Tania was very mindful of this during the online test aspect of the assessment, putting her at ease. The whole process from start to finish was seamless and the report and recommendations at the end, I know will go on to help our daughter in accessing the support she so clearly needs. From the start of the process was faultless
From the start of the process to the end was faultless, and was quick. spoke Sarah who supported us throughout as a family. We understood the full process. Meeting in person made the experience personal to us and we were able to share our concerns. The diagnosis was explained fully and helpful resources given. Light at the end of the tunnel
Before turning to CAYP we didn't think there would be a light at the end of the tunnel. Our last GP appointment about a NHS referral resulted in the doctor sending a prescription for antidepressants rather then sort his referral out. At that point we decided to go private. We are so grateful we did. CAYP have given us hope that our son can have a better future. We are grateful to Dr Shri Cameron and Dr Holly Hadfield for all their help and guidance, answering all our questions with great care, and getting us the answers we so sort after.

Using Cayp for dyslexia assessment
Using Cayp, and in particular Tania, for our son's dyslexia assessment was the best decision we could have made. It's a shame we had to do this privately, but it was worth every penny!
Tania was brilliant at explaining the process to us and created a great atmosphere for the assessment with our son. It was a long assessment, but we were given the option to split it over a couple of sessions (we knew our son wouldn't want this, so completed it in one visit). Tania was great at putting him at ease, made him laugh and generally treated him with such kindness and respect.
The report we have received is very comprehensive and (more importantly) useful. We have some clear points of action. We also received a lovely summary note for our son to use to explain what the outcome means for him, which was completely unexpected. Would definitely recommend Tania to anyone.

5 Stars – Highly Recommend CAYP Psychology
My 6 year old son has recently been assessed by CAYP Psychology, and we’re now continuing to work with their pharmacist as part of his ongoing care. From the very beginning, the whole team has been professional, efficient, and clearly dedicated to providing high quality support.
They communicate exceptionally well, always keeping us informed and involved at every stage, and it's been clear throughout that they genuinely care about my son’s individual needs. The process felt smooth and supportive, and I felt reassured knowing he was in such capable hands.
I’m very happy with the service we’ve received and would absolutely recommend CAYP Psychology to any parent who feels their child could benefit from professional assessment and support. Their care has made a real difference for us.

We had a very positive experience working with Dr Hasan Waheed, trying to understand the challenges our daughter faces with dyscalculia. Dr Hasan was friendly, listened well to our concerns, the tests conducted were thorough and the report presented was clear.

We recently had an ASD assessment for our daughter carried out by CAYP Psychology, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the compassionate and professional care we received throughout the process.
Karen, our psychologist, was exceptional from the very beginning. She immediately put us at ease with her warm and empathetic approach, making what could have been a daunting experience feel safe and supportive. Her ability to connect with both us and our daughter was truly reassuring.

Compassionate, efficient and professional support
We have used CAYP psychology twice now, most recently for an ASC assessment and previously for parental advice and support. Friendly, personal and comprehensive.
I am really pleased we used CAYP to assess our daughter for ADHD. We had been warned by school that to go through the LA for an assessment would be a lengthy process (years) and our GP said similar, even with Right to Choose. We were also aware our daughter's assessment could potentially be complex, so we wanted to ensure a thorough assessment process would be undertaken.
I contacted CAYP and was impressed from the outset with the personal approach given. Communication was very clear. The process was explained thoroughly and costs were transparent.
We were matched with a psychologist Dr Hasan Waheed who had appropriate experience for our daughter's needs. He took time to get to know us and our daughter. The appropriate screening and tests were carried out. A very comprehensive report was given to us and explained fully. He communicated with school and included them within the assessment and they too said how clear the process was.
Dr Hasan Waheed was friendly, knowledgeable and listened really well.
I would highly recommend CAYP to those considering assessments for their children.

Made a hard situation very easy
I cannot recommend this company enough they have helped my daughter and whole family, my daughter has been struggling for many years we had been the doctors and the waiting list was years . I decided to pay private Tania fox has been amazing she has made a very hard situation a lot easier for us I feel that she has saved us as a family . My daughter has now been diagnosed with adhd and autism . CAYP are helping with medication to improve her standard of life . I really cannot thank Tania enough I feel like I owe her so much more she has been staying in contact and we are working together . Daniel the director has also been fantastic I would say to anyone who is struggling please contact this company I felt when I first contacted them there was not a way out but finally there is light at the end of tunnel and I am finally helping my daughter get them help she needs . Choosing Cayp for our daughter's autism assessment was the best decision we could have made.
