Brilliant instruction from Neil. Passed my C1 licence, both 3a and 3b in one day. Couldn't have done it without Neil, he was patient and fab at his job

After a very poor C+E experience with a different company much nearer to home, which really lowered my confidence, I considered Class C instead before a chat with Mr Baker convinced me otherwise. I went on to pass the Reversing, Uncoupling & Recoupling at the first attempt before gaining the full licence after thorough and enjoyable training in Chorley, Wigan and, for my Road Test, Atherton.

From the beginning, it was a different world of driving to the previous one, so many thanks to Neil, Lucas, Chris Barlow, Phil and Wayne for giving me back confidence and enjoyment in lorry–driving, as well as for their valuable advice about the future, which won't be forgotten.

I recommend CBDT to anyone and I'll see them again soon for my CPC4.

On 21st January, I booked an HGV Class 1 course with Craig Baker in Potters Bar. However, on 14th February, the company informed me that, due to internal issues, the course was being cancelled. They offered me the option to take the training in Coventry. As this location was not suitable for me, I declined the offer and requested a refund.

It has now been 10 days since my request, yet the company has neither processed the refund nor provided any update on the matter. I have attempted to resolve the issue with the administrative assistant, but so far, without success. It is disappointing that a company fails to adhere even to its own terms and conditions.

The only reason I gave a 2 was because of the driving instructors Nigel and Chris to be fair they was both excellent and not there fault they work for a shambles off a company . Firstly after speaking to LGV driving company we arranged to book my training at Lichfield as I said on the phone I would prefer to take my test at Lichfield as I know Lichfield a bit and don’t want to be driving round somewhere like Birmingham or somewhere. That was my first mistake as when I turned up in Lichfield at 2.30 for my first lesson it was in a private gated area where nobody has heard off Craig baker driving also the place shut at 6pm so spent first lesson worried about will I even be able to get my car out so made sure we was back for 6 which meant 30 minutes short off first lesson. Then on first day I found out the test wasn’t even in Lichfield they could not tell me where it was going to be . All I knew it was on Friday . Tuesday was the same then Wednesday the instructor was looking after 3 off us and we was told that our reversing test was in malton mulberry Leicestershire 40 miles from my house which me and Steve was told to get our selves there as the 3rd driver wasn’t a good as us so he could do with more driving time which i understand there thinking but not our fault we payed the same as him so should be given the same treatment we literally had 2 attempts in the reversing training then was told to do the test luckily we past but could of gone either way this was Wednesday no other driving time so 7 hours training in 2 days . Then then found out my test was Friday . When I got home I then had a massage to say my test is tomorrow Thursday in Northampton Weedon . At 12.56 so I was told to meet at 10.30 instructer turned up at 10.45 not his fault for reasons his company booked other stuff for him to do in the morning . We got to Northampton about 12.20 drove down one road just guessing if the examiner will take me that way which he didn’t so did have to take my test with 9 hours driving experience in a place that I e never driven round in my life . Somehow I passed but think it’s due to I’ve done a lot off driving in my life with other jobs . And class myself as a good driver . Please anyone booking this company ask the questions do you know where my test will be so you can practice round that area I know I’ve got 3 mates that took there test and all 3 off them was trained round the area where there test was which is a massive advantage. Didn’t want to write a bad review as Nigel my Instructor was great and bad planning wasn’t down to him . But just don’t want anyone else going through what I went through as a stressful week was made ten times worse

Booked in for a "pass plus" to get some extra experience since I haven't driven class 1 in a while and have an upcoming interview. Chris Butler was very helpful. Left feeling a lot more confident. Allowed me to cover everything I needed.

Had a 3 day course for my C1 for ambulance driving. Had Neil first 2 days and Kyle last day. We’re both very helpful and made me feel at ease and give me confidence ready for my test and passed. Would highly recommend. Thanks guys 😊

From start to finish the whole process of booking my lessons, to taking my test was made easy. Jody in the office was extremely helpful in getting me booked in and answered all my questions. My main instructor Wayne at the Wigan depot made me feel very comfortable, he is exceptional at what he does. My 2nd instructor who took me to my reversing test also put me at ease explained everything and with both of them I can honestly say they made the whole experience a lot of fun. Obviously with them teaching me I went on to pass my tests easily ( even in the adverse weather conditions we had) and I would have no hesitation in recommending this company.

My instructor Chris Butler from Coventry was very helpful in supporting me pass my class1 license. The course was enjoyable and we had a laugh while carrying out the training, i would definitely recommend this driver training company to anyone who wishes to pass there class 1 or class 2

Chris butler really got me into gear, and worked very hard to get me ready in such a short space of time, because of Chris I passed all my class 1 modules leading up to my practical test and passed my class 1 practical test with 3 minors. Thanks to Chris Butler a legend👊🏽

Kept me calm, talked me through the process and was generally awesome.

Chris Butler really helped me in passing my CE test first time.
Going from Car to Class 1 was a big jump for me and was quite out of my depth at the start of the week. As the week progressed with Chris’s instruction and guidance I was able to improve each day, with everything finally clicking, I learned and understood the mentality needed to drive such large vehicles on public roads.
The week was informative and enjoyable.
