I worked with Calum and CB Social for a year and unfortunately found the experience to be unsatisfactory. Despite investing over £30,000 in Meta advertising and agency fees, our business did not achieve the expected return, which put us in a difficult financial position.

One of my main concerns was the clarity and accuracy of the information we received throughout our partnership. We often received responses through written emails that lacked the necessary transparency, and we did not receive clear screenshots from the ad account. This left us feeling uncertain about the data we were being provided. Three independent marketing experts who audited our account raised concerns about its management, indicating that it could have been handled more effectively.

While it’s great to see success, it sometimes felt like the focus was more on self-promotion rather than on providing dedicated support to clients. This was concerning, especially when we felt our account was not receiving the attention it needed.

After transitioning away from CB Social, we saw a remarkable 88% increase in sales through Facebook marketing within just 20 days. This significant improvement suggests that our previous marketing efforts could have been more effectively managed. We noticed that the strategies implemented were fairly basic and could easily be replicated by anyone with access to online tutorials.

Throughout our time working together, we made several attempts to discuss our concerns and request performance updates. Unfortunately, we often received vague responses rather than the detailed insights we were looking for. When we raised our findings and intended to provide constructive feedback, we were met with a warning about potential legal action regarding any negative reviews. This unexpected response made us feel overlooked and undervalued as clients.

In conclusion, our experience with CB Social did not meet our expectations. We were hoping for more professionalism and effective guidance, but instead, we felt our needs were not adequately addressed. I hope my feedback helps others who are considering their services.

The online course was structured in a way that was very clear and concise. Callum did a great job at relating all of the topics covered to different industries, as well as providing multiple examples and walkthroughs of how to implement the specifics that he covered. I really enjoyed the mini tasks throughout the sessions as they allowed me to apply what I had learnt and then receive feedback from Callum, and it also made the course feel much more interactive.

For me, the delivery method was EXACTLY what I was looking for. I have a short attention span, and struggle unless something is structured. This was exactly that. Structured, clear, and concise. The training gave the right amount of information and Callum made a huge effort to cover the variety of industries in the room with working examples.

Before this, I’d got some ads awareness from people with fantastic knowledge, but there were gaps missing and those made me lack in confidence. I’d been promising to do the training since it launched, so was really happy that I managed to finally get on it.
