Recently completed my irata level 1 with C&d acesss. Very friends and welcoming! Chris is very knowledgeable and I couldn’t recommend them enough!

Booked and attended a 1 day rope access refresher course, Initial quick response via email with joining instructions, the training center was easy to find plenty of parking and warm welcome on arrival including Covid rules explained, Facility & equipment was very good as was the training.
Renewal already booked, I would highly recommend.

What a place ! Would have no hesitation recommending this state of the art facility . Right from booking my course , the service has been amazing . I was made to feel very relaxed from Chris and all the staff . My training was 10 /10

Right where do I start in regards to C&D Access Training LTD

Value for money was certainly up there and a contributing factor when booking this course, It is by far the most financially competitive training centre not only in the North East but in the UK.

I have been involved with Irata Rope Access since 2005, I have been to many training centres over the years revalidating my Level 1 as I'm build for cuddling not climbing, And I can honestly say from walking through the door I felt right at home, with the friendly and knowledgeable staff.

The class room side of the training centre was clean & bright full of energy, not like one of these training centres where its a bit drab, hot, dull and you just want to fall asleep or cry.

The tea and coffee facilities is not a kettle in the corner with a sigh which says bring your own milk n sugar, here at C&D there is a fully fledged kitchen with all the cupboards stocked up with goodies, chocolate bars, protein bars energy drinks you get the picture ;-)

Toilet and changing facilities are absolutely bank on no different to your home, unless your a bit of a scruff bag.

Right the Rope Access Training Centre at C&D for me was perfect, just the right size with plenty of space to carry out all your rope access techniques, manoeuvres and rescues etc, no big pylons to climb up if you get the picture, this training centre is fully enclosed with plenty of natural light and a good flow of air circulation, none of this outside in the rain which to be fair is a great thing with the UK summer only consisting of 9 days of sunshine.

As my trainer at C&D I was lucky enough to have Chris Donkin, not only is he a fantastic trainer but in my honest opinion one of the best in the country, I have been lucky enough to work with Chris over the years as an Irata L3 and I can honestly say he knows his Stuff.

Another beauty about booking your ropes with C&D is that there courses are spread over 6 days, not like the other training centres which are 4 days training and 1 day exam, the extra day at C&D makes the difference if your new at level 1, stepping from 1 to 2 or 2 to 3, believe me the extra day helps.

Mary in the office was a dream to communicate with, easy booking process with plenty of knowledge of the local area, she booked me in a serviced apartment in Jesmond which was less than a 10 minute drive to the training centre, The friendly staff will take you for food or a drink on an evening if you want, they really do make you feel part of the family business.

Would I come back to C&D Access Training Ltd its got to be an 100% yes, not only as its value for money, a great facility, a great team, the crack is fierce, but I have managed to pick some work up through C&D on the inspection sides of things, this is something unique and not something you will get at most training centres so please bare this in mind before booking courses.

Came here for a 1 day rope access refresher. There was other centres closer but travelled further afield as it was by far the cheapest. A brilliant new training centre with new kit and good facilities. Great tuition from Chris. Friendly staff with good communication throughout. Will definitely be coming here for my level 2 recertification.

Cracking facility, great staff. Most of all a top draw trainer. Very informative, very patient and helpful. Wouldn’t go anywhere else going forward

Booked course with C&D access due to great price compared to competitors and was pleasantly suprised by their brand new facility and top of the range equipment!

Extremely knowledgeable instructor and staff were very accommodating (free tea/coffee/water & fruit) norty.

Highly recommend C&D if you want a good intensive course and to leave feeling confident enough to start work immediately like I was.

Not my first rope access course. But, it was my first time doing it with C&D and i highly recommend.

The facility is amazing and Chris is very patient and understanding. He relates every rope manoeuvre to a real life scenario and is happy to discuss specific hazards in your own work place. Which for me is added value.

I will be returning for the first aid and confined space training in the near future.

Excellent training centre with great facilities, contacted Mary on short notice to renew my Level 1, they fit me in no problem and Chris our instructor was fantastic, went over everything in detail and made sure everyone understood everything. Would definitely recommend anyone looking to do any of the courses provided to go here.

I attended C&D access training to do my 6 monthly refresher. The training centre is brand new. The facilities that are provided are better than any other training centre that I have previously been to.
I will definitely recommend this training centre to everyone that I speak to and I have no hesitation to use C&D in the future.
The instructor Chris is very knowledgeable, explains everything thoroughly and doesn't rush through anything.

I attended C&D access training school to redo my level one, as the first class to train at the training centre. The training course was a full five days of training, with the assessment on the Saturday. The extra days training allowed us all to relax a lot more during the actual assessment and on the day achieved a 100% pass rate. Chris the tutor was patient and very knowledgeable about all techniques rope access. Although this was my third time redoing my level 1 and with thousands of hours in my book, I came away with a fresh outlook having learned a lot more about making small things far easier and to top it all no pain in my arms at all. I would highly recommend this training school to anyone looking to either get a good strong start on the ropes or seasoned professionals.
