Review summary

Based on reviews, created with AI

Most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many customers reported significant issues with products, often receiving items that were not as described, were of poor quality, or were the wrong size. People also frequently experienced problems with their orders, including items never arriving, receiving only partial orders, or products not working as advertised. A strong consensus among consumers highlights issues with billing, including unexpected charges for subscription services or memberships. These charges were often recurring and led some customers to take action regarding their payment methods.

They are a scam

They are a scam. I made a purchase in November for two items and only received one item of VERY poor quality. THEN they continued to charge my account each month for 15 dollars claiming I signed up for a “platinum membership offer” don’t buy I had to close my entire bank account and reopen a new one because of them.

Ordered a ceramic comb through Oakes…

UPDATE: I received my refund from my bank and a new debit card. Glad that's over. Received the comb, it's works but no where near as well as the ad shows.
ORIGINAL REVIEW: Ordered a ceramic comb through Oakes and Ash for $9.99. Today there was a $29.99 charge through Ash and Hallow. I made no such purchase. Contacted my bank immediately. They canceled my debit card, and once it is no longer pending charge I call back to file the fraud case. My comb is allegedly traveling here per tracking, but feel so dumb from purchasing from them. The "store" showed a Florida address, but I should have been more vigilant.

I would rate ZERO stars if that was…

I would rate ZERO stars if that was possible. This company is all about scamming, apparently. I purchased their hinge adjustment tool and while it's "ok" but doesn't work in our home, the real problem is the additional charges made to my debit card. I emailed them when I noticed the charges and they said I opted for some sort of subscription. I don't remember seeing anything about signing up for a subscription. I disputed the charges with my bank, so hopefully I won't have to pay them. But buyer beware!!

Horrible

Their system defaulted my email address to gmail, so I didn't receive any confirmation or notifications; I called a Texas phone number and spoke with someone with very broken English with a bad connection and was told I would "just have to wait"

Fraudulent Website

I purchased a Christmas decoration from them. Quality was not as advertised but that wasn’t my biggest issue. Ever since that original purchase they have been charging my credit card $29.99 a month using slightly different company names without my consent or authorization

Lousy

I received my phone holder from Cedar and Ash eventually only to have it break as soon as I used it. Cannot get an answer from anyone. Guess I've done my money to these scammers.

My mom was fraudulently charged from…

My mom was fraudulently charged from this company. She ordered from Oak and Ash and a couple weeks later received a charge for $29.99 from this company, directly related but not Oak and Ashes fault at all. She emailed asking them what this was for they surprisingly responded and ssid she had signed up for it. Which was absolutely not true, it is not something she would ever sign ip for it was a makeup subscription and its not an easy process. Im unsure how they got her CC number. When she emailed again with a rebuttal they emailed saying that it was her fault for misunderstood. She did receive her money after reporting it to her credit union IDK how they do what they do but if you order from Oak and ash you risk getting fraudulent charges from this store. Thats my experience.

Fraudulent company

Fraudulent company
Original order is delivered correctly but additional charges are then taken weeks later. Payments cannot be blocked as multiple accounts are used under different companies. If anyone else has made payments to this company cancel your card immediately (including apple and google pay)

THESE GUYS ARE HORRIBLE

THESE GUYS ARE HORRIBLE - ordered a "set" of 3 mini xmas trees for planters. They took over 3 wks to arrive. I only receive ONE, and it was 1/3 the size of the picutre. I sent SEVERAL emails to the co who said they were "refunding" me - I received an email "confirming" the refund of $19 (vs $59 that I spent) but never got the actual refund. TOTAL SCAM COMPANY

TOTAL SCAM COMPANY. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM. I ordered a Christmas gift for my wife on December 11, 2025. Two days later they sent an email claiming that they didn't have my address. I called and got a foreign customer service person and again gave them the address. I had to do this again on December 15. I called my credit card company and they informed me that Cedar and Ash placed monthly recurring charges on my card. The credit card company cancelled my card and issued us new ones. The product was finally received on January 7, 2026. The product does not resemble the pictures in their adds. What a rip off.

Gloves? No!

I was just about to order some fleece gloves from them. They promised warmth and the ability to touch your cellphone for only $9.99. Glad I stopped here first. Sorry, "Cedar and Ash" (really trendy American-sounding name reminiscent of L. L. Bean), you ain't getting my money!
