Only got one star because I couldn’t…

Only got one star because I couldn’t give it nil. Absolute disgrace. Bought a bird box, claimed to be carved out of a single piece of wood, no joins, no glue. Appeared to be an English company. What arrived was plastic, with clear joins and visible glue . I immediately contacted the company and said I wanted a refund. They said they were happy to take it back at my expense for shipping. To HONG KONG! Alternatively, I could keep it and get a 25% refund. I’m absolutely livid, and so disappointed. The whole advert is a complete misrepresentation

ITEMS NOT AS ADVERTISED

Purchased what was advertised as hand made wooden bird houses but they turned up as plastic. They wanted me to return the items to Hong Kong at my expense.
AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE.

WOULD HAVE PREFERRED TO GIVE THEM ZERO RATED BUT TRUST PILOT WILL NOT ALLOW THAT

Keep spamming me

Keep spamming me, people seem to be disappointed in their products, but the adverts look like Ai generated rubbish to me , It would be good if people could post pictures of what they actually received versus the picture.

This scheming lying company also…

This scheming lying company also operate under 'Back yard Goods'...
and will no doubt operate under another colourful title as well along the way...
Their websites are done beautifully with great storylines and beautiful photos but when you look you can see it's all AI. There is no Betty or Nell living in some lovely rural part of England. It's all cheap and utter tack from China. Shame and more shame on them..
Heavenly God let us pray that these scheming, lying, repugnant filthy theives don't somehow, by complete default get run down by a juggernaut...

Don't waste your money!

I bought the Cozy-glow kitty lamp thinking it would be a small lamp with jewel like colours and beautiful green eyes. From the images on their website it looked like a lamp made of stained glass. It claims each lamp is hand painted with "Black outline and base, cobalt blue / amber / gold panels, green eyes" and that is not what arrived.
The colours are not like stain glass but badly spray painted insipid colours.
DO NOT BUY!!
It looks like there are 5 star reviews from Trust Pilot on their site so I stupidly didn't do much research into the company and made an impulse purchase. Don't do what I did!
Usually for Trust Pilot reviews you can click on the review and it takes you to the TP site but these don't. It's a review with 5 green stars to make it look like a TP review.
They offer 30 day money back guarantee. Let's hope that is at least true!

Hand Made Cat Lamps That Are Not What They Seem

I came across an ad for a lovely lady called Gwen in Hebden Bridge who was ending her business making Moggy Lamps due to arthritis and that there were only a limited number left, exclusively available through cedarandtin. When I went on the website to get one of these supposedly hand made stained glass cat lamps it turned out that they are also made by Bonnie in Minnesota who is also retiring her business due to arthritis and Lorna in Australia. The descriptions and marketing blurb are interchangeable. My guess would be that these are mass produced, cheap items from China and the whole story is something that would have gone well on Jackanory. Identical lamps are available on eBay for half the price with no fairy story.

A scam

Steven S.'s review prompted me to double check. That review was entirely right. Phone number a US one but addresss a residential one in London. The prices were too good to be true for what was advertised as the last 400 or so hand-made items (stained glass type, cat-shaped bedside lamp, supposedly all painted and soldiered by hand) all made by a lovely old lady in her workshop above a canal in rural England. Don't buy!!

ANOTHER SCAM WEBSITE NOT TO BUY FROM…

Another Chinese company operating a scam selling Margaret’s Hand-tuned Rain Drum designed for garden use operating under a fake English ID. As is typical, the advertising video is totally AI for avoidance of any doubt. The nice old lady in the video is totally fake (as per most of the jewellery advert scams). The English address supplied appears to be a residential holding address, only for correspondence.
Reading between the lines and the real detail that most people don’t read, the fine print registers the company in the US, the telephone number given is also US based. It is only when you read the ‘Cancellation’ (Refund) Policy, that you get to see the return address is based in China. That’s all the information you need to know you are not buying from some little old lady based in the Lake District… Why would you buy something that sounds quintessentially English, takes 7-14 days to be delivered (allegedly from the US), but most likely ships from China…?
The website is, of course, selling many other fake products with most images clearly looking as though they have been AI generated if you start to look at the real detail.
