Dangerous Appliance

I purchased an Airmaster Infrared Tower heater in February 25.
In January this year it set on fire in my Lounge Area!!
Very Frightening and a Good Job I was in at the time!
Due to personal circumstances I was unable to inform
the Company in that month.
Eventually I did gather some information but could not provide CED with what they required and therefore they
did not offer me a refund or replacement,which I wouldn’t have wanted anyway as I considered the Appliance Dangerous!!I assume that did not believe my
explanation!This was a Genuine Complaint.

Awful service

Awful service
Placed order online and paid. No inforrmation of when despatched. Then completely the wrong item was delivered.
Left several voicemails and emails and had no response whatsoever. Unable to get through on phone or email.
Have lodeged complaint with my credit card company to get a refund as unable to get hold of Central Electrical Distributors. Avoid this company at all costs.

Absolute joke of a company

After placing an order and paying the additional shipping the least I would expect is some kind of notification of when the items are going to be dispatched. We have called and left 5 messages and emailed with zero response. This company is meant to have 3 branches which is clearly untrue as these would be manned offices. With a sparkie booked I don't think its much to ask for an ETA of the goods.

Poor all round service

Poor all round service - no dispatch notification, and have only received one of three items ordered - somewhere between UPS and CED there has been a cock up. Chased three times and have yet to receive a satisfactory reply.

Great service and product

We ordered two dimmer switches from them, the first was out of stock but we were informed promptly and once back in stock we received the item. The second switch was a little faulty but a replacement was sent quickly too.

As a general comment, on the checkout page, if here is an option to choose standard delivery to lower the postage fee that might be more flexible for future orders. All in all, we were pleased with their service and product that we ordered.

Admittedly only a small order ( around…

Admittedly only a small order ( around 10 pounds) but critical for me to complete my job, after 4 working days with no confirmation or update i had to purchase again elsewhere, my original order eventually arrived a few days later by next day delivery, too little to late I'm afraid

In terms of the delivery time, we do our best to a) get it shipped on the same day and b) ensure the couriers deliver it within the time scheduled (unfortunately there is sometimes a delay with the couriers at this time)

Luckily I found this companies site as needed some items to finish a job desperately they had what i needed in stock and at a very competitive price. The items got delivered the next day and I could finish the job items were packaged well and received the tracking information for me to keep tabs on the order myself would recommend using this company and will be placing more orders

Avoid

So come across this company online and decided to order the materials needed to complete a clients job, big mistake.
After paying online and getting an initial confirmation email, I’ve heard nothing no updates, postage confirmation just a hole in my bank account where the hundreds of pounds I’ve paid use to be.
I’ve sent polite emails requesting an update and heard nothing.
Called there branch phone number and it just rings and rings until you get please leave a message option which I’ve also done and still heard nothing back.
I’m now faced with letting my client down or purchasing my order again with another electrical wholesaler.
