While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more

I ordered some products online after speaking to Graham in your online quotations dept, and they arrived promptly within a few days, from your Highbury branch.
However once they arrived I realised they were wrong, so I emailed to ask how to return them.
I was told I had to bring them back physically to the shop.
So I drove up to Highbury, met the manager who explained yes they had to be returned, but I could have returned them to any branch of CEF.
I was also told my refund would be processed centrally and not by the branch as the goods would now have to go back to the branch. This refund would take several days and there may be a charge for returning them.
Surely if I buy something online, then I should be able to send it back via the post, and not have to physically go to a branch ?
