Misleading company

Misleading company, buyer beware. My Cefaly broke after less than 30 uses. I reported it as broken within the warranty period but did not receive their response. Apparently they did reply but I never got it. By the time I followed up it was outside the warranty period and they said they no longer were obliged to replace it. This is breach of warranty and more importantly breach of consumer guarantee law. Device broke within warranty period, clearly faulty device and company refused to provide a remedy. To add insult to injury, they offered me a 100$ discount if I purchased another device as an 'act of goodwill' and then I went to their website and found that this was just a current promotion they had on. Misleading from start to finish.

100% agree with this last review

100% agree with this last review: I received painful shocks to my brain upon first trying the product, and the customer service team refused to let me send the product back for a refund. It is quite shady how this is not clearly advertised when buying the product, especially when the US website does advertise refunds. The customer service representative I contacted to solve the problem was unhelpful- when I first explained what happened in my email and asked for return instructions, they just replied with instructions for how to use the product, completely ignoring my inquiry.

Cefaly device will give you painful shocks to the brain. Customer Service is Disgraceful

I watched all the videos and promotions for this Cefaly Device. It is supposed to help prevent or ease headache and migraine levels. I paid $499.00 for this device. I have been using it for 2 weeks so far and for the general part it is ok, but then all of a sudden you will get a surge of electricity that is so strong you have to remove the device. It feels like you are being hit in the head with a taser or cattle prod. I contacted the company, you can't get them on the phone so you have to fill in a contact form and then they email you back, which is ridiculous. I explained that my device may be faulty with these sudden really painful bursts of electricity into the centre of your brain. I also noticed that the Electrodes only last for 1 week each, so it costs you $15 a week just to pay for electrodes so you can use the device! Wow, that is so expensive. They should last longer than 1 week each. In the email that I got back today they told me to post the device back to them in Sydney Australia and put my name and address inside the box. I would have to pay for the Return Postage myself plus registering and tracking! What !!! They said that they would check it and see if there was an actual problem.Of course there is a problem otherwise I would not have contacted them!!! If they deem the device as not being fauly then they are just going to send it back to me. I thought there was supposed to be a 30 day money back guarantee with the device, but that is obviously not correct. I am really angry that this is the type of customer service that I receive after buying such an expensive product.
