Believed the great reviews of this website to trade in smartphone. Went through the online form to get a value of $120. Mailed it in. Was told they were paying only $30 because of "scratches". The online form did not mention anything like this and the phone was certainly ok to use. So it seems unless your phone is in perfect pristine shape they won't pay the full amount. Won't do any business with this company again in the future.

Cell4pets is a great place to send in your unused/unneeded devices. The customer supports is quick and responsive. **UNDERSTAND** that if you send your device in around the Christmas holiday/around the end of the year, expect a tedious and long wait to receive a check from them, as they claim they are overwhelmed with many devices to test, which is understandable. Although I could have sold my device on Facebook/eBay much quicker, Cell4pets donates to a good cause, which justifies the longer wait. During the holidays, it wouldn’t be a bad idea to inform to all that are sending in phones, that it may take longer than expected, I first expected about 4-5 days to get a check, and instead waited roughly 15-20 days. ALSO UNDERSTAND, this was also USPS at fault as well, My payment for my device was sent out and it seemed to have been lost in the mail for about 7 days.

Overall, Janet was very responsive and communicated to me very professionally, and deserves a raise. Thank you Janet take the next week off !

This is an EXCELLENT company. They provided the highest offer by far. $368 vs. Best Buy's $250. The 2nd closest offer was still only a little over $300. The service was also excellent. They provide email updates and even respond to texts immediately if you have any questions. Very smooth process. I highly recommend this company!

It all sounds good until you send in your phone. Apparently there was a small balance on the phone, which I paid immediately then had it unlocked. All good. This was last week, been waiting on the "testing" update, heard nothing. Sent an email, now told they need a break and will get back to me in 4 days.
Someone did contact me today after seeing the review to rectify the situation. They have assured me all is fine with the phone and payment will be Monday
UPDATE: I did receive payment on Monday for the phone, and they very kindly absorbed/credited the 3% fee for PayPal. Thank you !

My experience with Cell4Pets was seamless and convenient. After setting up the buyback with them, I was given a USPS Priority shipping label, and shipped it out the next day. The package was received, inspected, and approved by them within less than two days of receipt, and payment was issued shortly after. This is a painless, easy buyback company with a noble cause.
