What a shame! I thought this was a good idea. I haven't had a bad experience with the customer service, but the wine quality has been awful. Many leaking bottles and others, especially the reds, ferme... See more

Read a lot of terrible reviews on here…
Read a lot of terrible reviews on here and wanted to balance it out. Been a subscriber for about 6 months and loving it. Saw an offer on a poster and thought I’d give it a go. I once had a bottle broken during transit but the customer service team gave me a refund for that bottle. I think they are a small team so I gave them some slack with response time. We order 3 reds and 3 whites and usually I really like about 4/6 of the bottles. It’s a nice date night with my partner trying the wines so I can confirm this isn’t a scam!

Terrible customer service and you don't get your order.ive waited 2 weeks and nothing so I have cancelled my order and hopefully I will be refunded ?
Mould, Rank, and Disgusting
This is the worst thing I've ever had delivered.
The bottles have mould in them, they've leaked and they stink. The wine is a cloudy yellow where it has gone off. I have never seen such disgusting products shipped to a customer before.

I wish I had done my due diligence but I didn’t check the reviews before I made an order. All the things in the reviews are true. Two of the bottles had leaked in the box and to be honest the quality of the product is poor for what you pay. Such a shame as really liked the concept. You also can’t cancel the subscription via the website but you need to call.

CellarRats is a great wine subscription service with an easy-to-use platform and great wine selections. The real-time updates and customer support make it even better. Super secure and reliable, perfect for wine lovers! Highly recommend!
Amazing - Been subscribed for 6 months
I've been using cellar rats for about 6 months now. Always great products with a luxury feel to the packaging. I look forward to my delivery each month to see what different wines I can taste.
Would recommend to anyone.
I've seen a few negative reviews recently which is surprising after my experiences. I believe they are quite a new business so hopefully just some teething problems.
Don't bother
Ordered a trial and paid delivery through Vodafone. Emailed them twice and got told to wait. Still nothing, emailed again and got ignored. I contacted Vodafone who couldn't help as celler rats had not issued an order number on my account. In the the end I went through Instagram and they cancelled and refunded my delivery, however they could not find my order! Really awful customer service. Avoid avoid avoid. Can't tell you how the wine tasted as I never received any!
Deceive customers
Cellar Rats offered a voucher for 6 bottles of wine for £9.99 but didn't say that in order to get this, I had to buy a full case as well... That's deceptive marketing and is illegal in the UK.
Nothing arrived, hard to cancel
Used Vodafone offer, didn't receive anything, no response when contacted via site. Cancelling not easy as you can't do it via their site and they only provide a premium rate number to call. To be fair they cancelled via email quickly and without issue, and issued a refund for the postage for the offer that didn't arrive. Shame the offer wine didn't arrive.
Absolutely shocking DO NOT USE
Absolutely shocking. Wine has come and leaked everywhere, so stupid sealing the bottoes with wax rather than putting a cork in them. Now all the bottles have come in contact with oxygen and cannot be drank. To top things off, you can't cancel online and all they will do is ignore all of your emails. Its not often i write reviews but everyone needs to be wary of this company!! DO NOT USE
SCAM DO NOT ORDER
Ordered on vodafone rewards and ordered a first month trial that I only had to pay delivery for. Haven't received anything in 9 days. Have asked them to contact me a few times and have heard nothing. Just accepted that I've been scammed and want to warn others.
Most items arrived smashed
Most items arrived smashed, tried to contact many times via the webiste and email asking to cancel, no reply. Have been charged £34.99 today , i have disputed with my bank.
They really are rats!!!
Wine is vile…avoid
Wine is vile - we had 3 months worth as part of package - threw all reds out. Must be something to do with the way they rebottle it - every bottle was like ribena, literally couldn’t drink it. We know and love wine. Avoid!! Unless you like that crimes 46 or what ever it’s called then this will be right up your street
SCAM - Cant beleive they get away with this.
The original wine came and ordered a couple of bottles however one came already open and leaked all over the box. Emailed with no reply. Tried to phone to cancel as only option and was on hold for 30 mins and got cut off however this is not a freephone number it's a premium number at around 45p per minute for all it looks like a mobile Ive been charged almost £15 for call as it was excluded from my unlimited minutes.

Ordered through the Vodafone offer a week ago still not received anything, emailed but no reply. Will be cancelling and contacting my bank.
Really poor customer service
Really poor customer service! Extremely difficult to cancel. They do not reply to emails or online requests. After 10 plus attempts at trying to contact them, finally found an email address, they didn’t respond but did reply process the cancellation request. It’s a shame they are so poor on customer service, as the bottles, packaging and wine are all lovely!

Still waiting for my wine from a Vodafone offer that they did. Absolute shambles. No reply to emails and phone calls were a joke. Having to now put a block on by the bank to refund my money. A disgrace of a company. Avoid

Ordered the Vodafone free box and never arrived. Happy to take £5.99 delivery off everyone though. I’d like my money back
Scam
I signed up but received no confirmation about my first wine delivery. Tried to contact them but no response. Think this is a scam. Have reported it to my bank.
The cancellation process is atrocious…
The cancellation process is atrocious and does not support anyone with accessibility needs as you have to call a PREMIUM rate number.
I have tried support at cellarrats.com along with placing a general enquiries, so that they cant challenge me blocking payments from my bank.
