Jolly good experience with the service!

Did my 2021 census and I've still been receiving notice flyers through mail telling me to do the census. After calling them it seemed that the issue was an automatic thing, thorugh the system or smth and my census was updated only a couple days after the submition, so the system automaticaly was still sending me notifications. So it made sense the system wasn't keeping up with all the other submisions.
I mainly wanted to review the service the guys provided me. Didn't have to wait too long in the queue, 2nd time calling I didn't have to wait at all. Politly, sorting out the issue in short time and apologizing for the confussion I had regarding the issue mentioned above. Just the experience was a wonderful one. Keep doing the great job guys!

£900 million waste of money

Apparently the census costs us the tax payers £900 million. I can't see see any improvements we are supposed to have 2 million children going short of food, More homeless people than ever, Massive waiting lists for housing, roads full of pot holes shortage of Police Nurses Doctors. This country has been going down hill for as long as I can remember so how does the census work..And if anyone from the census department is reading this STOP sending me reminders to fill it in. I did it two weeks ago online and I have a email receipt..

Typical government service

Typical government service. Hideous FAQ section. Sent an email weeks ago, they only reply now saying that Census day was the 21st of March, but if my query is still outstanding, to visit the help website or call them. Then what was the point in me emailing?

Rude! Kept banging on the door and letterbox!

We only received the letter Saturday and it had to be in the next day. The officer who must work for this. Banged on the door many times and loud. I got out of the shower and was getting ready and my mum was in the shower and my brother was working nights. So, was in bed and woke him up. So, was not very happy. It was loud and many times attempting to knock. There’s no need of that and it’s extremely rude.

Especially, as we have faced a ‘pandemic’. She didn’t even say sorry. It’s wrong of the government to invade people’s privacy as we were getting ready and did not expect anyone to come.

Plus, they know everything anyways because of birth certificates, death certificates, hospitals records and taxes plus many many more. Vehicles also. And they know exactly how many people live there.

They know by the polling because it states very clearly who lives at your address and despite people completing this census it does not achieve better services with regards to roads and funding of hospitals and protecting the environment!

Scared the dogs as the bangs are loud and they have anxiety. She didn’t just knock the once she kept on and on. Plus we have a new door and this is technically invading privacy because we were all getting ready as working nights etc. My mum had to put a towel around her and look out top window and had to wait for ages as she was talking to someone in a grey car. It’s not very nice to go to window like that but with the dogs anxieties.
