The service with this company has bed. Horrible! We purchased the extended warranty for. GE refrigerator and the unit broke and could not be repaired. The tech sent in the report the same day and over a week and still not settlement. I was out right lied to by different representatives and then told by two supervisors that the claim would be settled within 48 hours and now they tell me 10 days over a week later. Terrible service! Do not purchase a warrant from this company.

This company is not honest and they do not honor their warranty. They said they called me and I said that the refrigerator repair was complete when they never even called me. They said they could share that conversation with me and when I asked them to share the conversation with me, they said they could not because they had to get permission. He couldn’t share it because it never happened. My refrigerator was never fixed and they strung me along until after the warranty expired. I called Centricity and spoke with one of their representatives and she said that even though the warranty was expired, the claim was still open before the expiration and they would either complete the repair or offer a settlement or replacement refrigerator. I taped this conversation, but they would not listen to it. When it came time to settle because GE deemed my refrigerator unrepairable and gave me a case number to prove it, Centricity wouldn’t cooperate with me or GE and offer me my settlement. My suggestion is get another warranty company on your appliance because if you pay Centricity, you can expect lies, deception, dishonesty and nothing but aggravation. -0 stars!!!!!!!!!

Appliance replacement as promised. The consumer is a winner.some appliances are made poorly nowadays. Insurance is a very good idea.

Purchased a one year warranty on our Whirlpool dishwasher beyond the original one year offered by the manufacturer. The basket on the upper shelf broke away from the roller arm (plastic piece broke off) so basket hangs down into main tub area. Called Centricity to see about repair and they said this part was not covered. Their claim is that warranty only covers motor and electrical circuitry. Hard to imagine when a major moving part breaks preventing the machine from operating, that it wouldn't be covered. Warning: read the fine print.

Unfortunately, I’ve had to call Centricity again concerning my GE Dryer. It has a crack in the drum. I called on 6/9 and sent pictures in email. I called to verify the email was received and was told it was and someone should call me in 2-3 days. No call so I called again on 6/16 to follow up. Got the same run around. Called again and finally got a tech out on 6/23 (who was here less than 5 min because he saw the crack and heard the noise I reported and sent in email previously). Here it is 6/30 and I hadn’t heard from anyone so I called again. I was told AGAIN that my claim has to be approved for the company to order parts and I should receive a call in 2-3 business days. My claim info is BQ76808PLQ34. I just want my dryer repaired with the warranty service I paid for.
I’ve listed a complaint before and they replied saying they couldn’t find my info. My claim info is above this time so please don’t use that excuse.
Centricity - try being a good company and get this issue resolved. Why do customers have to go through so much when we follow the procedures outlined in the process? Waiting 30 days for an appliance repair after you’ve received video and pictures of the issue is ridiculous for any company.
Update- 7.16.25
Centricity sent me a check for the retail value of my dryer (pre-tax) to fulfill the warranty requirement. They started calling me after I posted this issue, and I had them send whatever we discussed in email.

April 25th - cooktop failed, message left with retail/service company that had fulfilled warranty needs in the past. One week later was notified they could no longer accept direct claims and that it would need to go through Centricity.
May 8th - initial claim, of note this is the 4th occurrence of induction module failing. The last time I was told the part was no longer made but one was eventually found by my retail store.
May 14th - first service company verifies that induction module is bad, part not available.
May 28th - second service company verified that induction module is bad, part not available.
June 20th - after once to twice weekly calls to Centricity 1800 number I contact the retail store to see if they could help me. They did have an email contact and were able to make a connection, were asked for and provided a quote for replacement.
June 24 - another call placed to Centricity 1800# and was told that the claim was being reviewed but I should be contacted in 24-48hours as it generally takes 1-2 business days to review quotes (had already been 2 business days).
June 27 - another call (10+ total) to Centricity 1800#, was told there was no timeline for review and no one else I could speak with. Laughed at me when I pointed out the frustration of being without a cooktop for 2 months.
This is currently 1 of 5 appliances I have Centricity extended warranty on - I will NEVER purchase a warranty through this company again. And will not do business with any company that offers it either.

We bought an appliance package (6 appliances) from a store in town nearly 3 years ago. We purchased the 5 year extended warranty on all of them. Our range started having problems in January of this year. We reported the issue to Centricity and they sent a technician. He diagnosed it and ordered parts shipped to our house. He came back at the first of February to install the parts. Then realized he needed 2 additional parts. We waited a month to find out Centricity had not ordered the parts yet because they were waiting to confirm the shipping location to our house, even though the first set of parts were shipped to our house. Centricity is VERY difficult to deal with. The CS reps have very little information and almost no authority and they are VERY reluctant to transfer you to a supervisor. When they finally did that, I was able to confirm the address and all was seemingly fine. Now it is June 27th and my range is still not working. I am being told that the parts are on back order. It has been 5 months that we have not been able to use our range. I was told that if repairs cannot be made that the appliance would be replaced. Seems to me the inability to get parts means the appliance cannot be repaired. It has been 5 months, how much longer do I have to wait? Another 5 months? Is two years too long to wait?
UPDATE: Well, now we're up to 6 months and still no oven. Centricity said the part would be in by July 14th. I told them that I have been hearing that same story since February and so I had no confidence that would be the case. I was told if the part was not in by July 14th they would move to an alternative solution (i.e. replacement range) since it had been so long. When I reached out to them on July 15th, the part was still not in. But, instead of honoring the "alternative solution" that they offered 2 weeks prior, they told me it would be another week or July 22. So now today is July 29th and I still have not heard from Centricity. Quick summary: They told me a month ago the part would be in in 2 weeks or they would replace the range. Two weeks goes by and they said, "one more week." That week went by and then another week went by (4 weeks total) and no word from Centricity.

It's hard to write a review for this company since I purchased this policy through an Appliance Distributor.
The Distributor endorsed this company once I inquired whether they sold an extended warranty plan. I can only hope that when the time comes to use this policy, this company will provide the service they talk about.

I submitted a claim for a refrigerator in on April 18,2025. Fridge is not cooling. Yet to get a replacement for the fridge. I am being told that my claim is under review every time I call for a status

I first contacted their customer service representative regarding ongoing problems with our fridge, which has had previous repairs already under the manufacturers warranty. The rep requested that I email documents proving the prior repairs, which I promptly did. It took them 13 days to respond to my request, during which time I reached out two other times, as our freezer was malfunctioning (for the third time in the three years we've had it) and we were unable to use it. In their response, they requested the documents that were already attached in the original email. I responded, letting them know that we had already sent the requested documents and that if they needed something more detailed, I would need them to clarify what they needed. It has now been four days with no reponse, even though I have now emailed them an additional three times, as we are having worsening problems with our unit, to the point that now not only is our freezer not working, but our fridge is malfunctioning as well, heating to an unsafe temperature for food. There is no response, even to let me know that they are working on it or when I can expect to hear back from them.

We’ve now been without a properly functioning refrigerator for over four weeks. During that time, we’ve contacted Centricity more than 17 times. Each time, we’re told the issue will be “escalated” and that someone will follow up within 24–48 hours — yet no one ever calls back.
Originally, they scheduled a service appointment for May 27. It’s now mid-June, and we’ve seen zero progress. The assigned service provider, Cone Appliance in Bradenton, has been completely unresponsive to both us and Centricity. Despite this, Centricity has continued to stall instead of taking decisive action to resolve the issue.
Most recently, we were told a new company would be assigned — but the phone number they gave us went straight to a generic voicemail, and a quick online search suggests the business may not even exist. I called again this morning after not receiving anything from the new service provider and was informed that Centricity is not able to reach them either. However, I am required to wait until my appointment time tomorrow between 8a-5p before they can yet again, reassign to another service provider.
This has been one of the most frustrating and disappointing customer service experiences I’ve ever dealt with. I would not recommend Cone Appliance or Centricity’s extended warranty coverage to anyone.
If you're shopping for new appliances and considering an extended warranty, do yourself a favor and ask who the warranty provider is before committing. If it’s Centricity, I strongly recommend you run the other way.
Centricity is claiming they have an A+ with the BBB and a 4 star rating on Trustpilot. They are not accredited with BBB and the rating on Trustpilot is 3.7 and dropping.

My 3 year old GE front loader washer stopped draining..after contacting Centricity & waiting several days, they finally agreed to send a repair tech...tech wasn't available till June 9th & diagnosed 3 issues which were sent to Centricity on June 9th...today is June 16th & I'm still waiting to hear what the next step will be..I've called Centricity daily, as well as Grand appliance where it was purchased..
I'm beyond frustrated as I have a severe medical issue so trekking to a laundromat is difficult....I've already had to go twice..
What is the hold up??? Either fix my current machine, replace it or reimburse me...
I'll never buy another GE product or a Centricity warranty..
Update: Apparently, Centricity does monitor this site as I received a voicemail call from someone named Kurt @ Centricity apologizing for my experience & told me they were just going to replace my washer & offered me a $25 Visa card for laundromat expenses..he left a # & asked me to call him.....right...so the # he left wasn't a direct # but instead it was the call center...person I spoke there denied knowing a Kurt & refused to transfer my call! but instead would send him an email...never heard back nor did I receive any info about the Visa card.. thanks for nothing Kurt..
Again, I called Grand Appliance customer service where I had bought the washer & they had attempted to contact Centricity too on my behalf...they had sent 3 emails but never received a response..
Shout out to John who's a manager in Grand's customer service who said enough is enough, & simply offered me an instore credit for the full price of the machine so I could get either a replacement model or any other machine I wanted..
Needless to say, I will never buy another GE appliance or a Centricity warranty..no wonder Grand doesn't use them anymore..
I'll be buying a Speed Queen top load washer that doesn't require an extended warranty company since Speed queen covers their own products..

Beyond frustrated. No clothes washer for family of 6 for over 3 weeks. Lots of run around. Each agent I talk to tells me the prior agent was wrong or lied to me. I've been told many times that once the Claims Department receives everything, all will be handled within 48 hours. It has been over a week. Tired of the lies I am told. I'm told a my full replacement has been approved. Just waiting for the authorization code to give to my local store. I've been promised twice a phone call from a "guy" (won't give me a name - not allowed), however no call is ever received. Today I was told it might be another week and Customer Service has no idea how I will receive this code - mail, email, text, Fed Ex, phone call, skywriting. There is no way to contact the Claims department directly.

ONE MONTH WITHOUT A REFRIGERATOR!!!!!!!!!!
UPDATE:
Since posting my review Centricity refunded the cost of the unit and reimbursed us for the cost of the food we lost. Having to go one month+ without a refrigerator was an extremely unnecessary and very stressful experience. Centricity really needs to address their Customer Service and replace their current call center staff. In the end Centricity did step up and honor the terms of the agreement so I would now rate them 3/5 stars. Special thanks to Kirk at Centricity for doing everything exactly as he promised he would do.
We have now been a month without a working refrigerator! Centricity had the control board replaced and it lasted 4 days. Now, according to the service tech, the refrigerator cannot be repaired. All Centricity will tell me is that the work order is “under review.” The call center is staffed with people that are extremely difficult to understand and a few of them are outright rude. I have never dealt with a company with such poor customer service! One month without a working refrigerator is unacceptable especially since we need to keep medication cool (which I have explained numerous times). I have made probably 50 calls to them and still we do not have a working refrigerator! (Case# BQ60464PFU16) (6/11/25)

They subcontracted my refrigerator repair to a local repair company with a 1.4 rating out of 5 on Yelp.
It took the appliance repairman multiple trips over 4 months to finally fix my refrigerator. In the interim my refrigerator leaks on my hardwood floors. My calls for status update and attempts to escalate fell on deaf ears at Centricity. In fact, one Centricity customer service representative told me if it was him, he would just go out and buy a new refrigerator. They didn't say that when I paid a premium price for the 5 year extended warranty when I purchased the refrigerator.
After my frig was finally fixed and I reported the damage to my hardwood floors. Centricity pulls out the Terms and Conditions fine print and denies my claim.
Never again will I ever buy a warranty from CENTRICITY. They took my cash upfront, and I had to fight and claw to get them provide the service I paid for. All the time and effort I spent getting them to fix my refrigerator was exhausting.
They don't care about their Brand. The Original Manufacturer does and they would never subcontract to lame business partner.

Very frustrated with the communication and response from this company. Called to get a Claim # so my selling dealer could work on my Refrigerator. Service tech replaced a start controller but that did not resolve the issue. Service tech came back out on 5-30-25 and determined that the unit needed a compressor.
Called Centricity twice. Once on 6-6-25 and again on 6-9-25. They said the unit had been fixed on the first visit. However, my service repair company says they turned the request for repair in and have not heard back from Centricity.
3 weeks without a Refrigerator and no end in site.
The service repair company cannot do anything without approval and Centricity is not communicating.
