I am in the process of migrating all my…

I am in the process of migrating all my sites across to Certa and have to say I am really impressed with the Company, Infrastructure and most of all the support staff. Both Darren and Jay have been outstanding with their support and knowledge and quickly helped me through a few teething problems (mainly of my own doing). My experience so far has been first class and whats more my monthly costs are down significantly based on that of my last hosting company. Thanks to Certa and all the staff.

Just set up a new account for a client…

Just set up a new account for a client - we've been very pleased with the levels of service from Certa with our reseller account.
We wouldn't recommend Certa if we weren't convinced they are a great hosting company.
After some (consistently) bad experiences with the large companies, we will now always chose a smaller independant hosting provider.

Helpful

Helpful, Speedy, and resolve issues fast compared to others I have been with, will normally go above and beyond to make sure any issue is totally resolved, and even IF an issue of the same comes back at a later time, they continue to try other things to resolve it and not leave you without any support, top company, I would seriously recommend to give them a try.

I had some hiccups with Certa's hosting…

I had some hiccups with Certa's hosting panel and requested my service was cancelled based on my inital impressions (though others may not have any issues, please bare that in mind). I recieved a timely and courteous responce within 15mins and a full refund was issued. Excellent customer service.

Solid Reseller Hosting

Just started hosting sites in a reseller package with certain - been good over the last few months, few problems, good facilities on the platform and fast helpful tech support.

Was very disappointed they recently ditched sitelock hence 4 stars only.

Definitely recommend.

No problems with Certa

No problems with Certa, pleasant and helpful customer service, easy to up and downgrade packages, easy to pay for hosting.

My only moan is, I did try and install something that was included in a wordpress theme and it said the host didn't support it and the upload size is a little on the small size (wordpress upload not FTP) but otherwise it's a great hosting company.

Brilliant service and even better support!

Certa have been amazing. I have had the package for over 6 months now and had no downtime! The process of moving has been so easy and I have to say a massive thanks to Joel and Ash. They have been very helpful with their friendly service and they are always there when I needed them. I have since convinced my own employer to move their website over to Certa and they have also found their service to be second to none and would definitely recommend.

Certa Hosting - Low Quality Service - Keep Away!

Certa Hosting terminated my account without my approval, because I threaten them with a bad review for their low quality service.

You MUST read:

The hosting of Certa is extremely slow, when it serves more than 5 people at a time, it took to my simple wordpress blog more than 12 seconds to load. and I got every too minutes the 503 error!

I migrate from other hosting service to Certa hosting only because they promise a "Turbo" account with the Unlimited package, which in real life is slower than regular account with the other hosting provider.

All the story with this hosting company started when I published a negative review in TrustPilot, 2 weeks ago, just after I paid for something turned out they can’t provide (But can take my money for it).

They promise me a dedicated IP to one of my domain on shared hosting, I paid for the hosting and for the domain together, after asking several time if it is possible to have a dedicated IP for 1 domain only on the shared unlimited hosting package, the most expensive one. they told me "of course" and I have all of the chat script as well. (I believe they have it as well, this is why they had to bribe me afterwards. keep reading to the end...)

After opening the account with Certa Hosting, they told me that they can assign a dedicated IP only on the re-seller account, which is way more expensive and unnecessary for me!

I told them that it’s there fault and they should make it work in any way, even it will be on their expense(!).

After I wrote the review above on TrustPilot, they offered me a bribe in form of a re-seller account, which can work with the dedicated IP, which I already purchased from them and paid for.

The representative of Certa hosting, Joel, very angry guy, wrote to me:
“ I would be willing to upgrade your account to a re-seller account with the dedicated IP at no extra cost as requested if you agree to remove the unfair review or charge to a 5 star “

If you were insulted by me calling you liar after you promised something you can't keep, so it mean you are insulting by the truth. Joel admitted to me that the guy from the chat promised me the dedicated IP on your shared hosting, and I have a proof. don't try to minipulate the truth guys.

I always wanted to solve it, while you tried to blame me on the 503 errors.

If you can't handle a standard wordpress blog, at least don't blame all the wordpress developers...

I hope you will do better with the other customers you still have.

Thanks for taking the time to review us.

We do accept that we are not able to please every customer and from time to time there will be times where we may not meet customer expectations. We however in this case believe that we went above and beyond to help this customer and no matter what we did he would never be happy. He would constantly threaten with bad reviews when he didn’t receive the answer he was hoping for and has conveniently missed out the replies from his side where he insulted Certa support staff. We have many clients on our network who have multiple websites and run with no issues at all. We believe that it was in our interest to ask the customer to remove his data from our network as we will not tolerate the abuse received over the time he was with us. We have many customers which have left excellent reviews and in a recent Tech Radar statement, it was commented on how fast our network performs. We believe that the sites had been attempting to dominate resources possibly because of bad code and out of date plugins. The package that was purchased has resource limits which this account would have over exhausted. The 503 errors attached were isolated to this account only, again we believe that this is due to bad coding, and the server as a whole was unaffected.

I do not think that preventing this kind of abuse can be looked upon as supplying a bad service as I think anyone reading this review would not want us to allow 1 site to dominate a shared servers’ resources.
