Swift Service, great product.

Ordering was easy and the engine arrived quickly. I fitted it to a Toro ride on and although the whole thing took way longer than I expected, a lot of that was fixing parts of the mower itself.
I had to make a new longer throttle cable and drill out the holes in the chassis which although the same spacing, were 10mm instead of 8. Would have been nice to ship with a mating electrical connector rather than having to source my own and cut off the j&j one.
Overall taller and wider than the intek it replaces, but it fits inside the Toro engine cover once I removed the Toro air duct. Muffler even just fits, but I'll have to make an exit hole and some heat shielding or could use the Toro one which looks like it will fit the head but will need new mounts.
Mower is up and running and the motor is quiet and smooth, starts and runs well, idles nicely and seems to have plenty of grunt, more than the original engine (albeit comparing with a very clapped out intek).
Overall this is a very effective way to give your old mower a new lease on life.

These cheap pumps are unreliable and of poor quality. At the recent bushfires a 1 year old pump kept under cover had perished fuel lines when I came to use it. Now the pump governor does not work. I've learnt my lesson, never again. Fuel lines should not perish in 2 years. J and J are good with the comebacks but this doesn't improve the quality of what they sell. I paid a hefty price for not seeking quality, reliable machinery.

Got the right bar and chain
I have a common and less common chainsaw, spoke with the staff and got new bars and chains delivered a couple of days later at much lower cost than OEM gear. I would rather change out the bar and chain more often than go OEM.
