I had a terrible experience at Champs…
I had a terrible experience at Champs Car Care. I brought my car in for an electrical door issue, and I had already provided a known working master switch and verified all fuses. Champs incorrectly told me the part I brought was bad and forced me to pay for a replacement I did not need -- then charged $280 even though they didn't install or use the part.
They then hit me with an $850 diagnostic fee and still didn't fix the issue correctly. My original passenger-side mirror was replaced with a used one, the carbon fiber mirror cover was broken with clips snapped, and they never swapped the turn signal as promised. When I pointed these issues out, I was told "too bad."
I was charged $1,195 total, and they didn't install the part I paid for or fix the problems correctly. I will never take another car here. There are plenty of shops that stand behind their work -- Champs does not.
