I received notification from HMRC saying they had sent a cheque to Taxtree (Chandler Simmons ) for £1544 back in August 23. I have emailed them ...phoned them...stayed on the phone for 2 hours and then it cuts of. How can I get my money as they haven't even informed me that they have received the cheque? I'm actually on the phone now waiting for them to answer. Its disgusting !!!!

Absolute disgrace. No replies communication and are with holding my money

I never knew i had tax taken off my PPI claim until contacted by these guys. Took few months to get money from HMRC and they paid me within 7days. Obviously took a fee but noone works for FREE do they.

We received fantastic service from this company and they helped us claim many thousands with reference to PPI claims.

Filled out a PPI tax rebate form, got a letter from HMRC saying I was owed £457 the cheque was being sent to taxtree I received a cheque from that lot for £251 if I knew there fees I would not have made a claim. Rather loose £251 than give these scumbags £256.

DO NOT USE CHANDLER SIMMONS.

THEY ARE PUSHY, AND TRY TO CLAIM MONEY BACK FROM YOU SAYING THEY HAVE SENT YOU A CHEQUE, WHEN THEY HAVEN'T ACTUALLY SENT YOU A CHEQUE AND DEMAND THE MONEY.

AS THEY SAY IN THEIR POLICY IF YOU DON'T RECEIVE THE MONEY YOU DON'T HAVE TO PAY THEM, WE'LL NOT IN THIS CASE, IF YOU DON'T RECEIVE A CHEQUE THEY ARE STILL DEMANDING MONEY, WILL BE CALLING AND TXTING CONSTANTLY THEN BLACK LIST YOU AND TAKE YOU TO COURT THEN GIVE YOU A CCJ, EVEN THOUGH YOU NEVER RECEIVED ANYTHING AND YOUR BANK STATEMENTS SHOW THIS ALSO.

STAY WELL CLEAR OF USING CHANDLER SIMMONS.

One star is too much to be honest.
I claimed £52.60 tax back for a PPI claim and I got a cheque for £2.60. I feel I was totally duped into claiming in the belief I would get this £52.60.
I waited months for this little bit of money and felt very peeved that Tax Tree have robbed me of £50!!!!!!
Why are HMRC even allowing them to do this.

Ive had a call from Tax Tree about tax rebates on my PPI claim, was all done very very quickly but I’ve not had any terms and conditions, including what commission they take. They don’t have a working web site, have I been scammed?

Tax tree contacted me told me I was entitled to a ppi refund. After initial contact they have gone quiet and have told me that HMRC are 7-8 months behind work claims. I’ve tried several times to contact them but my calls go unanswered

Horrific company! Zero stars but I had select to write this review. I received a payment £180 from Lloyds and I paid this horrible company £56.00 in 2020. Received a letter a year on !!! For invoice of £1890 claiming they are still contacting the bank ( for what exactly) shambles of a company and need legal authorities onto them

Absolutely horrible company. Called me today, barking orders to contact my bank. Then after i called back they demanded another £636 for a £2649 payout a year down the road, saying it was the banks fault. Try to call back again 8 times to be cut off.
Got home to find a letter invioce for £635.86 .
Rip off. Im going to check see ifvthis is legal .

I wrongly completed a request to check PPI, found out after they rang to talk about loans I had when it was a mortgage. They have been hounding me since 2019 and are now demanding money saying I have gone behind their backs to get a payout. Never had a payout because there never was a PPI to claim back. They won’t leave me alone.

Very poor, and now very suspect.
1. They no longer answer telephone calls
2. Their prepaid reply envelopes are now being used by Tax Tree - of Tax Tree

I would give zero if I could. Absolutely horrendous company with horrendous staff. Contacted me after a year demanding payment for a pay out I hadn’t received. Having already told them I had moved and that I wanted them to stop contacting me, more than 7 months previous. Absolutely abhorrent !

39.9% charge on your banking charge it's not capped like ppi charges at 20% plus vat do it yourself cheaper

I was pleased and most grateful for their help however, after receiving my refund my daughter was taken ill in Australia and then my father was in a hospice and passed away. In this time although they knew the situation, I had over 40 phone calls for my payment which by the way I only received the last week.

Appalling customer service ,they never ring back when they say that they will return your call. Chasing you for your payment even after they have banked your cheque. They are incapable of checking there own bank account so it is left to the customer to sort there inability to correctly manage there own accounts dept . USE THEM AT YOUR OWN PERIL YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

Fantastic result. Lloyds told me I had no PPI. I went to Chandler Simmons to double check and they got me back £5646.78. Great customer service , very helpful friendly and professional staff.

No replies to emails (FAKE EMAIL ADDRESS). Can't get through on phone. Keep getting texts which can't be replied to. Promised money less commission will be forthcoming. Texts to me saying I have not signed or filled in required forms, which I have both online and post. My long letter went unanswered. My emails all met with Daemon Failure notices. I will miss deadline despite my multitudinous efforts. It's so disappointing.
