The staff at C&P made this experience really good.
I had a lot of dealings with Liam, Anthony and James, who went above and beyond in looking after my parents house whilst it was empty.
They visited weekly to check the house. Kept me informed of any changes.
Their approach was very sympathetic and kind. I cannot thank them enough.

Even though it took a long time to sell my house, due to 2 failed buyers and Rachael Reeves dithering which affected the housing market at the back end of 2025. This was no reflection on C&P. Sadly these things happen.

So I can recommend this estate agent in Merrow for anyone thinking of selling their property.

We couldn’t have asked for better estate agents than Chantries & Pewleys. They really know the local area inside out and, more importantly, know exactly who to market a house to. From start to finish, they always had our best interests at heart and worked hard to get us the best possible price. There was absolutely no pressure to rush into an offer just for the sake of a quick sale (which we’ve heard can happen with some lower-fee agents). Professional, knowledgeable and genuinely on our side — we’d happily recommend them to anyone selling in the area.

We bought our house through Chantries & Pewleys and the support Liam provided, felt like at times, he was working for us more than our own selling agents. It gave me such a lasting impression, that if I ever moved again, it would absolutely be through them.

A lovely team of people who provided a personal, caring, helpful service. They gave me clear guidance at all the key decision points, which I really appreciated. Despite the current market, my house eventually sold, enabling me to move on. I wouldn't hesitate to use their services again.

The Merrow Chantries & Pewleys team, in particular Anthony and Liam have been absolutely amazing to deal with. I cannot recommend them highly enough. There years and years of experience and ability to deal with ups and downs in a calm professional manner and to calm my neves (ish) was very impressive. We sold our house in the Merrow/Boxgrove area of Guildford in February 2025, after very protracted final negotiations to complete our sale eventually.
