Really impressive team at Chapel Flooring. Excellent customer service from Jackie ensuring the fittings were booked in at the right times for me. I’ve recently refurbished a rental property where Chapel Flooring supplied and fitted carpets, supplied waterproof laminate flooring and supplied and fitted kitchen tiles and fitted bathroom tiles. Best tiling I’ve seen! Everyone was polite, efficient and excellent at their specific trades. The carpet is even bleach cleanable! Fantastic for a rental! I’d be sure to use them again for other projects and my own home.

Excellent Service from help at the the initial purchase through to the fitting of vinyl in our bathroom.
All went very smoothly and we ended up with a good product well fitted.
It's nice to know that "old fashioned" run companies that believe in SERVICE still exist!

We chose Chapel Flooring as they could do the complete job, rather just supply and fit.
We needed the whole house recarpeted in one go. But we needed all furniture moved for us, and all old carpets removed and disposed of. We couldn't do this by going to one of the usual high street chains. We wanted a bespoke service from a local company. Chapel met our needs in full with a great selection and could offer to do all the work over several days. We chose our carpet and underlay and had great advice from Tony and Jackie. Then we had the work scheduled in using Chapel's own experienced fitters. They did a fantastic job with a really friendly and helpful staff. Michael and Cameron were hard workers and made sure everything fitted perfectly and nothing was too much for them. I cannot fault the whole job and would highly recommend using them again. Try using a local firm who will give you more of a personal service, one that you can trust. It's really worthwhile and you are supporting local business and people who care about you. Cannot fault the process in any way. First class.

Chapel Flooring installed an engineered wood floor and skirting boards to my lounge/dining room in September of 2021. This was done to a very poor standard, which resulted in my having to take Chapel Flooring to the Small Claims Court so that I could get another company to come and do the job properly. This was finally done in November 2023- nearly 2 years after the floor was originally laid.
On the day that the fitter carried out the original installation, he ran out of wood. Rather than come back at a later date with more wood, he finished off the job with a few offcuts- this looked terrible. Large areas of the floor could be seen bouncing up and down when walked across, which was something that Chapel Flooring seemed incapable of remedying.
The skirting was no better, having been fitted in such a way that it leant back against the wall at a very noticeable angle, rather than being flat against it. I paid for an Independent Flooring Inspection to be carried out, which noted the following-
"The wood has not been acclimatised in accordance with manufacturers recommendations and was installed on the same day as delivery"
"The overall appearance is not pleasing as there is an area of flooring located at the far end of the room where the wood planks are a different colour"
"I can confirm that the consumers concerns regarding movement of wood flooring when it is walked over is justified, there is vertical movement located in large areas of the lounge"
"Where I could gain access I found little or no expansion gap present"
"It is my professional opinion that the problems we find in this installation have been caused by the installers not paying due diligence to their work. The installer should have ensured that the subfloor was flat and level prior to installing the wood flooring"
I eventually ran out of patience and started proceedings in the Small Claims Court. Chapel Flooring did not contest any of my complaints, and eventually paid me only after they had been ordered to by the Court. It has been a thoroughly miserable experience from beginning to end.
I would most definitely not recommend this company.

Can't recommend Chapel Flooring enough.
We've had a complete re-fit downstairs today and we are ecstatic with the result.
The fitters arrived on time both days, They were courteous and highly skilled. The flooring has totally transformed our downstairs living space. We can't thank them enough.
We will definitely return for further work.

Can't recommend this company highly enough. From the customer service in the shop to the fitters. The owner personally came and measured our rooms and provided he most detailed quote I've ever seen. The fitters were on time and were courteous. Our flooring looks fantastic.

Cannot understand the Negative Reviews. Have now had Carpets, Karndean and Vinyl flooring work carried out by this company and all to a very high standard. Had another carpet fitted today and was done in good time and to an excellent standard. The 2 fitters even hoovered the underlay before laying the new carpet as well as leaving my property in an immaculate condition after cleaning up after themselves. Finally assisted me in getting my furniture back into place before leaving. Sales, Quote and fitting all top quality. Will use again for sure. Thank you

Terrible customer service. They are very keen to add charges over and above the quote but unwilling to make deductions for work which was not done. They arrived unannounced a day earlier than had been agreed. the workman immediately started to whinge about spurious "extra" work. He didn't mention work we had asked for in the original quote which would not actually have to be done. The manager never answers emails. When you can eventually contact him by phone and query his charges he becomes rude, dismissive and patronising.
For the sake of ripping us off for £200 they have lost further business worth £3000 to £4000 and gained this review. Well done!
A thoroughly bad experience. Avoid.

Chapel Flooring did the whole house for us to a very high standard, including carpets and quality floor tiles. We had an issue that was no fault of Chapel, and they gladly came round and fixed it. First class service.

I can highly recommend Chapel Flooring. Following my Garage Conversion I wanted to have the same Parquet wood flooring which I have in the Sitting Room through to the Hallway and into the converted Garage. The Flooring in the Sitting Room has been down over 30 years and I therefore anticipated it would be very difficult to acquire the same wood Tile. However Tony took the time to find this wood and the match with the existing wood is perfect.
Tony's quote was very fair and he was also very helful with how the Flooring and Door Mat area should all be designed.
The quality of the work is exceptional, there were no shortcuts. The Hall Floor was screeded to make sure it was completely flat before installing the wood. Skirting boards were removed from the converted garage and matching skirting boards replaced the old ones in the Hall. These were perfectly butted together with the Floor Boards and both the Garage and Hall now have exactly the same design. Even the Door Thresholds were perfectly cut to fit in the Door Frames.
The 2 Fitters were very pleasant, helpful and discussed any issues as the work progressed - I really felt as if they took huge pride in their work and wanted to provide me with the best Floor possible.
I can only conclude by giving the Company a 5 Star rating and that I am delighted with both the Service and the Workmanship - I just dont want anyone to now walk on my beautiful Floor!!

Worst service I’ve ever received.
The tradesmen are sexist, rude and can’t take any criticism. They have totally ruined my skirtings, carpet and walls.
The manager does not care, does not answer emails or calls.
Highly advise anyone to go elsewhere as it is not worth it with this company.

Very disappointing. They measured incorrectly and gave me a quotation and then tried to charge me extra money. They damaged my newly decorated room and my new bifold doors. Would never use again.

Tony and his team provided an excellent service, from coming out to measure, sending a quote which was accepted, supply and fitting of wall tiles and Karndean flooring. All professionally done and within the timescale allotted.
Very pleased with whole experience.

If you want flooring before the turn of the next century go somewhere else. We are still waiting for a simple quote after measurements taken over 6 weeks ago.

I have just had all my upstairs refitted with carpet from Chapel Flooring. The service was prompt, efficient and friendly. The shop manager was very helpful with advice and helping me to choose a suitable product. A very good experience in these difficult times. Would highly recommend. A first class family business.

If you're looking for flooring I would strongly recommend you go out of your way to find an alternative supplier. Overall service, follow-up, interaction, after sales, wanting to do a good job from A-Z, simply not fit for purpose. They don't care about you.
