A great customer experience and any money back after a property purchase is greatly received! Carlos and Jemma were professional and thorough with their explanation of the steps to claim the money back. I would recommend their service to anyone who has recently purchased a property.

SDAS Ltd have clearly found a gap in the market and are exploiting it to the full. Little did I know that you should not be paying SD on certain fixtures and fittings until I received a flyer through our door from Carlos. A quick and simple 10-minute video call followed, with the only other demand on me being the provision of certain documents from the purchase of our home. Carlos and Jemma then did the rest and 8-weeks later our bank balance was better off to the tune of over £1800! Their 25% fee may seem high at first, but 75% of something is better than 75% of nothing, so it is absolutely worth it! Do not hesitate in having that call with Carlos. I had no idea that I may be eligible for a stamp tax refund from HMRC until SDAS Ltd contacted me. At first I was tempted to bin the letter, thinking it may be a scam but my wife checked Trustpilot and told me she felt it was genuine. I made contact and we began the claim process. It was fairly simple and although there were some delays at the HMRC end of things, a refund was made in around 8 weeks. I'm very grateful for the service SDAS provided.

Excellent experience. I’d been sceptical at first, as most would likely be at the prospect of tax refunds, but there was no need to be. The T&Cs are really strong though and the company will refund any fees taken if HMRC refute the refund any time in their statutory 9 month response window. This gave me a lot of confidence.

Booking the review was straightforward and done remotely in about 20 minutes. I had a very significant refund application as my home came with many premium furnishings (grand piano and freestanding bath etc) and some garden and garage equipment. Carlos and the team put together a claim within a week or so after this, and signing the contract followed within this time period and was very straightforward indeed.

Our application was submitted to HMRC roughly 3 months ago, and I write this review the day after funds were transferred into my nominated bank account. We got back nearly £6k after fees, a really great result! We’d not estimated any cost for fixtures and fittings when we bought the home and had no idea how much money we were leaving on the table with stamp duty overpayments.
