Grass OK service a bit lacking.

I ordered my grass on the 13th June and it said 5-7 business days for delivery, which meant 23rd at the latest. I planned the other garden work and workers around that. 23rd came and went. Emailed for an update, miraculously within half hour of my email, I got a proforma email saying they were dispatching that day! (Not a co-incidence Im feeling). Delivery Instructions - I put I will need it taking down the alley through my back gate, no way it could go through the door and with a back and lung problem and no-one else living here, I couldnt order without that confirmation and they should cancel if it couldnt be done. They took the order and the money didnt query the delivery. When the delivery came, 26th in the end.....the driver said they cant deliver to the rear garden, its not in their policy, Tuda should NOT be accepting instructions like that as they are a third party carrier and dont have to comply with delivery instructions other than front door or kerbside. Not that happy to be honest. The grass is OK for purpose, only wanted a sectioned off grass area for some benches and play area. I had to try and carry 55kg 4m role which left me very out of breath and in pain. I didnt get any update as to what day the order would arrive and didnt get a delivery slot, it was a lot of waiting around, took time off of work, lot of guesswork as there was no communication.

Tuda Grass - a different class!

Tuda Grass (aka ‘Cheap Grass‘, which is a complete misnomer!) sent us six large-sized samples of their mid-ranged grass, all of which were of superior quality in every respect to anything else we had received from rival faux grass establishments. Actually getting hold of them on the phone was difficult with this obviously busy company but using their Facebook chat, then being instantly connected to one ‘Rachel’ was simplicity itself. We sent her photos, drawings and size details and she was exceptionally helpful throughout. We chose an amazingly realistic grass called Sydney for our remodelled back garden and will receive it between 3-4 DAYS of paying for it! Absolutely blown away with the care and inimitable service of this company! We will be telling everyone we know about Tuda Grass and trust that even the you, who is reading this review, will be pleasantly surprised at their product, service and beautiful results when your grass is laid!

Great service, speedy deliver and amazing grass

I cant recommend Tuda highly enough. I ordered samples from a few companies and looked at some in B+M, STELLA from Tuda looked and felt far superior than the others, and at a fraction of the price. Their customer service from the start was great, delivery within a few days and super quality grass - really delighted. I cant recommend Tida highly enough. I'll buy again for the front garden. Thank you!

Top service and quality

Ordered Luxury 6 grass from them on the 7th but i
Specified needed delivery on the12th or the 15th as
I had arranged to be on holiday
They delivered on the 12th (spot on )
The driver took the grass to the rear of house no qualms
Having now laid the grass I am delighted with it.
Excellent price and quality

Excellent service

After a horrendous experience with flooring direct, we ordered grass from tuda direct.
Excellent service and received full order withing 7 days.
Delivery driver lovely and took order through to the garden.
Haven't fitted yet, but grass looks good quality too.

Don't listen to the bad reviews

I read the poor reviews so called the company before ordering. The lady was helpful and reassuring. She even gave me an extra discount and her number to confirm that I'd put the order through so she could assign it to a courier.
Many of their issues have been supply and demand, there haven't been many artificial grass companies throughout the pandemic and couriers were in short supply.They were overwhelmed with orders and couldn't get them to the customer in the usual time frame.I received my full order within seven days of ordering and the quality has exceeded my expectations.You won't find cheaper and I would definitely recommend you give them a chance.

Good Company

My experience of this company has been excellent from their side the DX Express couriers let them down badly, the staff at Tuda were brilliant after being messed about by DX it was coming on mon came to door with Bath panel 🙄got an email to say it was delivered called them cant find it then said they have be delivered next day never bothered to contact me to say it wasnt coming anyway cut to chase called Tuda girls in office very professional told me they were delivering 15 miles away from me next day would put a New piece of Artificial Turf on and be delivered all the way from Manchester at 6am next morning and True to there word 6-10am dropped off the Quality was very good I had someone fit it on our tired decking yesterday and today the shop called and asked if they could show some pics of the fitting it was that good I totally recommend this company nice friendly people and great service I'm delighted with our new look Decking

5* service and top quality grass

Delivery was quick and easy with good communication about when it would arrive. The grass is great quality and looks amazing in my garden, it’s made our lockdown so much easier to be able to enjoy the garden in the sun!

Worst service ever

Worst service ever - where do I even start!
The grass was delivered unexpectedly at 6.30am with a single driver that needed help. I have health issues so it wasn't ideal and two of us took half hour to get it out of the van.
I paid over £1200 for something better quality, but arrived with items missing from the order (such as cleaner), and the grass doesn't remain in place, falls off with little pull.
Have not been able to get a reply from them about the missing items, both via email and have not been able to get through by phone.

Dont do it

Dont do it, go else where.
I ordered some grass off there website and the delivery date come and went, got in touch with dx and they informed me that they have not recieved my order, rang them to see what's going on then they informed me that the order is on a wagon at the warehouse and will be shipped later on in the day to then receive a apology email saying that the grass was out of stock spoke to them again after another few attempts to be told the exact same thing.

They are full of BS and still awaiting my order will give them another few days then will go though paypal to get my money back and will go further down the line due to the damage they have caused after promising several dates.

Grass Underlay

Reading a couple of the other reviews I was a little aprehensive ordering the grass underlay but it was listed a lot cheaper than alternatives online and gladd I did. I ordered 2 lots of 2m x 5m of the Alevo 10mm underlay and it came exactly as described. I ordered on Friday 22nd and it has just been delivered today (Wednesday 27th) so quite fast I think with the bank holiday and coronavirus situation.

Poor service quality

I would NOT recommend !

Review of Tuda grass direct - also know as cheap grass . co . uk
I would NOT recommend anybody to buy from this company. Here is my experience. One star is too many.
Before ordering we looked at the many reviews on the cheap grass .co.uk site. All were excellent. On some other review sites they did lose points on communication and delivery dates. We decided to place our order online for Berlin artificial grass on a Sunday afternoon (when they were closed) and received an automated “thank you for your order” immediately.
Delivery on the website at this time was 1-5 days. This being 5 weeks into the Covid lockdown I would have understood had that needed to be longer, but it was advertised as being quicker than other companies were and an important factor.
Having not heard anything at all from the company by Wednesday a.m I phoned to enquire. The lady on the phone apologised for the delay and said my order would be leaving them today and I would be contacted by the delivery company DX. Delivery would be Thursday or Friday, but probably Friday. Happy with that I immediately went out and prepared the garden ready, just in case it did come on Thursday. Later on Wednesday afternoon I received an email to say “ Your recent order on Tuda Grass Direct | Cheap Artificial Grass has been completed” I thought the wording of this was a bit wrong as the grass hadn’t actually arrived yet. Had I not phoned a few hours earlier then I would have been concerned by this wording. So I waited all Thursday and all Friday morning. I was concerned that I still hadn’t received a delivery email so I phoned up again to ask if it was coming today, only to be told it was booked in for delivery on Monday. DX would text in advance but if I ring back on Monday “we will be able to confirm it with you again”.
So on Monday at 8.10 a.m I phoned again to be told that the system wasn’t showing anything so the lady on the phone said she would check for me and ring me back in a few minutes. One and a half hours later she still hadn’t rung back so I phoned again to be told her system wouldn’t let her in and she would have to get back to me in a “couple of minutes”.
Two hours later and still no call so I rang again. This time I was told by a different lady that the grass was definitely with the delivery company, having been collected on the Wednesday before and I was given a tracking number for DX.
So I went onto the DX tracking system which told me my parcel would be delivered last Thursday!
Furious with DX I sent an angry email to them demanding to know when my grass would come. Their reply came within 20 minutes to tell me that they did not have the grass. It had an assignment number but the grass had not yet been given to DX to deliver.
So, back onto the phone to ask for a refund. Spoke to the same lady as usual who asked me to hold whilst she checked with the warehouse. When she came back on she said it’s definitely not there and has been despatched, even though I am telling them DX don’t have it. The warehouse boss said it may just have been missed on the scanning out and should definitely be out tomorrow. He feels confident it will show as out for delivery tonight and will arrive tomorrow. Reluctantly I agreed to give them one more chance. The lady on the phone said she would ring me back at 8a.m to confirm and left herself a reminder.
So I then checked the tracking number I had been given many, many times and no it did not update. And no phone call at 8 a.m as promised on Tuesday morning. At 9am I phoned DX to check with them personally and no it had not been given to them for delivery.
And so, once again, I phoned up tuda grass, also known as cheapgrass .co .uk, and this time I did receive a refund without an argument or apology from them.
