Good emergency pickup from Teqnia Recovery, actual website could do with an upgrade
My overall experience with the recovery company was good, however the actual website itself could use some improvement.
Sign up was easy, and I got a WhatsApp response from a company number within minutes. However, the website isn't clear on how many recovery companies it works with, and doesn't provide the names of any. From looking at other reviews on here of a similar website (cheapcarrecovery), it seems that it's completely luck of the draw on whether you get matched with a good company or not.
Fortunately, I was matched with an operator from Teqnia Recovery. I had a very cheap quote, especially considering it was an emergency pickup, and a journey of around 30 miles to my home address. The person on the WhatsApp had quick replies and gave updates on when the driver was arriving (even though I did have to reach out to get an updated ETA). Overall, the experience with Teqnia was great, with a friendly and efficient driver.
However, as mentioned before, the website really needs an overhaul. A list of companies that they work with would give customers a lot more confidence, rather than leaving it to chance. I also think they need to provide a clear way to reach out to customer support if you do have an issue with whatever company they connect you with. I had a good experience, but its obviously at your own risk depending on what company you get matched with
