Gave me the information I needed before I got there so I could read up about the car before I got there.

Its great to see this company has taken steps to make the service they offer clearer.
But as i was misled it would be great to have a refund on the amount i initially paid as it was not what i was led to believe i was getting.

To current reader's who are reading this.
The below statement was my original review.
Based on the above I now feel this company has taken reasonable steps to correct any mistakes made and should be trusted.

"Its a hook site. You pay £5 thinking you will get everything listed but then after paying they give you information you can get for free and then give you a message in red with a countdown timer telling you the car has hidden history and asks you to pay a further £10 to reveal the full history. Scam site and no replies to emails. Report to trading standards"

Bloody scammers display £5 price with list of what's gets checked underneath. When you pay it you just get an email with requests of further payments to get it revealed!
Stay Away!

Do not use this site absolute scam says £5.00 for full check with ticks to confirm insurance write off and finance check, yet you get a basic check that's found on line for free.
Since this review apparently check-reg have made it more clearer on levels of premium and basic info for your vehicle?,but this does not help hundreds of people like myself who were cheated by check -reg taking payments for misleading information that was not described clear. No receipt on purchase given just takes your payment.No refunds have yet been offered ..

If I could give 0 stars I would!! Absolute scam. It says you pay £5 for a full check no hidden prices. HAH!! You pay £5 for a very basic check of information that is easily obtained for free! Then you are supposed to pay another £10 for the information you were promised in the first place! Absolute scam!!

At first the site was so quick and easy to process all the information I felt nervous if it was actually real.
However The information and customer service received within minutes was excellent especially during times of Covid. Highly recommend will visit again.

Scam. As others mention they advertise you will get way more then you do for the 5 pound option. All the info they provide for 5 pounds can be obteined for free.

Check reg got in touch following on from my original review and refunded me £5 for my first purchase which i felt was misleading. in my opinion they have rectified the situation and this shows a company with good intentions. I would use the service again

Complete con! £5 advertised check doesn't cover anything states and asked to pay am extra £10 to upgrade.

Don't not use this company you only receive information that is online for free an extra charge of £14.99 to receive hpi information
