Our company decided to give them a try to save some money. We should have listened to our gut when we wondered why they were sooooo much cheaper. The order process wasn't too bad. It took a little longer than we usually have to wait to get our order. When we received it the paper they used was very thin, it just seemed very cheap. It didn't have the hologram that we are used to having on our checks but it did have the rest of the protections. We also noticed that every 5 - 10 checks had spots along an edge in random spots that looked like it had gotten wet and the ink ran. I took a sheet of their checks and a sheet of our normal checks to our bank and she said both are valid and usable but she agreed that in today's world we need every protection we can get on our checks. She also found the random markings very odd. We decided to return the checks and go back to the company that we have been getting our checks from for many years. I sent them an email basicly outlining everything here and that I would like to return them, it was well within the return window, never heard anything from them in any manner.
I reordered checks without changes. They were shipped with color changes. the check stock was lighter. The check boarders was changed. When I question they said that I had only 90 days to complain. Then new checks are cheeper quality.
My check order was for 3 per page for use with Quick Books. I am a long time customer. The last order of checks were out of register vertically for use with Quick Books. So I called and spoke with a Robert R. in customer service and sent them a sample of the out of register printed product. For weeks now I have waited and wrote e mails asking for some kind of response. None have been forthcoming so I urge future customers to consider a more responsive supplier than "Checks for Less"
Extremely difficult to deal with, not readily communicable and suggest potential customers use alternative check suppliers.
