Unacceptable business practices
Unacceptable business practices. I ordered bags, 2 weeks ago and have not received order confirmation. Had to email their customer service and still waiting for a response.
The product itself is not that great. There are better alternatives for less money.
Update: The company never responded. However, they now sent me , and charged me for 2 orders. Mind you I placed the second order because I received no confirmation of the first, so I thought it didn’t go through. Now I have a ton of bags that will last me a lifetime. Absolute lack of customer service
Update #2: they contacted me and apologized. Said that confirmation emails were sent. Doubtful since I scanned all incoming emails even those marked SPAM.
They did one thing right. They reimbursed me for the duplicate order. For that, I am revising from 1 start to 2
Warranty Coverage Being Honored
In today's world with so much online shopping, it can be such a challenge to have to return an item. I purchased a preserve chef vacuum sealer some time ago. I honestly don't know the date. It failed on me a couple weeks ago. It simply would no longer charge. I noticed on this company's website they have a two year Warranty. The actual expense of this item is not high. I had no anticipation of getting an acceptable solution when I emailed the company. My email was responded to rather promptly. A representative named Kaitlyn presented a series of questions with which I provided answers. She quickly determined my practices were in the guidelines for proper use of my vacuum sealer. A new one was shipped to me promptly at no charge! I have no idea how many friends and family members I have been bragging to about this amazing device which I know several have purchased. The first thing I did after purchasing my vacuum sealer, was go to Costco and return the big heavy sealer sitting on a shelf in my pantry, lol! I have never looked back. My wife was absolutely in Love with her vacuum sealer . Lightweight, powerful, easy to use and store. After a few days we had a problem with the charging adapter. I immediately informed Chef Preserve. To my surprise their friendly staff answered my concerns within a day and after answering a few technical questions as to the problem, with another day they informed that my new vacuum sealer had been shipped to me.. Dishwashers versus Chef Preserve’s bags, Second Try
I put two medium-sized bags in my dishwasher, on the bottom shelf, and ran a normal wash cycle. The bags came out crumpled, with dirty water caught in the folds and they would not deflate. The vacuum was not at fault because I tested it on an unused bag and it worked.
I tried again later and put two bags (small ones this time) on the dishwasher’s top shelf. The bags came out still containing some food residue but the valves were not damaged. I suggest using only the top shelf or just washing the bags by hand.

I saw a video on it so I asked for one for Christmas. OMG , I absolutely love it. It's so incredibly quick and easy. It stays on my kitchen counter. Having reusable bags is phenomenal. I've got a freezer filling with meat and fruits and veggies sealed in the frig. I love to shredd my own cheese. It works awesome on that too. I've shown my husband how to use it and he is amazed with it. Best thing money can buy and so worth every penny. It's just the 2 of us living here now so it sure is nice to be able to keep the food fresh longer.

I ordered an extra large glass container and they immediately sent me a replacement with their apologies. I love this product so much. I ordered more glass containers and am going to get rid of my old ones.

I am ADDICTED to Chef Preserve! It’s so much easier than the food preserver we present use! CP is convenient and easy to store! In fact it’s left out on my island cause I use it for everything! I’m changing my lifestyle and those glass containers are going to be real convenient for my Sunday food prep! I love it!

I purchased a Chef Preserve Vacuum Sealer in Nov 2025. In April it stopped working and I couldn't figure out why. I contacted the company looking for a possible solution.
Christine, from customer service, reminded me that Chef Preserve had a two year warranty. After I answered a few simple questions about the issue, I was told that an order for a new unit was being processed. The next day, I received an email informing me that my new Chef Preserve Vacuum Sealer was on its way. Nice to find a company that truly stands behind their product.
Chef Preserve not only has Vacuum bags in different sizes, they also have glass containers with Vacuum lids. I love mine so much that I just ordered another set.

Absolutely a horrible company ... They LIE about their RETURN POLICY ... No Questions asked - TOTAL LIE. Returned products all together (device, bags, extra bags & glass containers) They claim they didn't receive glass containers. If they received and credited everything else, then they received the glass containers. Company & Return Cust. Service are NOT trustworthy. I will continue to negatively review this company whenever I see postings ... in hopes that others don't have to go through what I had to.
It's not at all surprising that this company deletes any negative review of their products & their customer service. Anyone should be skeptical if all you read are positive reviews that's a definite red flag!!

I love my Chef Preserve vacuum sealer. That being said, I misplaced my charging cord. I reached out to Chef Preserve and they were quick to reply and help with the situation. One of the best customer service I have encountered. They stand by their product and do what they can to keep their customers happy. I highly recommend this product and the company!
Best Facebook Order Ever
I ordered from a Facebook ad, hoping for a positive experience, which isn't always the case with online purchases. Received in a week, and I was hooked!! First time I used it was on fresh veggies, and they stayed fresh over two weeks! Then frozen meals, again with great results, and small space in freezer. I saved money with each use, as I live alone and food waste is expensive. Customer service is prompt and courteous, another plus. Trust me, you NEED this little machine!!
Vacuum Sealer
I had the vacuum sealer that started to seal then stopped, appearing as it needed to be charged. I plugged it in to charge, immediately the light was going from blue to yellow, it wasn't charging. When I unplugged it, the sealer was hot to touch. I put it back on to charge but the light didn't come on at all.
I went on to Chef preserve's website, then to customer help and there was information to send an email to them regarding my problem.
I sent the email the night of 4/7/2026 and I had a respondence at 8am on 4/8/2026. Today 4/9/2026 at 8am I had an email letting me know they were shipping a replacement sealer at no charge. Also, letting me know I could dispose of the defected on, it wasn't necessary to return it.
I feel the attention that was given to me, with such a quick response, tells a lot about this company. It is one of the best products that I've ever purchased, the Customer Help Team, one of the best! They were quick to respond, letting me know they were working on the issue and then resolved the issue, all of this within 3 days.
My recommendation if you looking to purchase a product such as theirs, this company, Chef preserve would be the one to go to.

The post office couldn't manage to deliver it so it got sent back and it took forever. But all I had to do was send a text and they were all over it and the company got me a new one and it works great. Everything's fine. I love it. Great service
HICCUPS HAPPEN. FEAR NOT - READ THIS…
I had enjoyed my ChefPreserve for a few weeks when one day it just stopped working. It made all the noises that it was working, but it wasn’t sucking any air out of the bags. Tried everything: a new bag, sealing with the little white bag sealer device and ensuring the bag was clearly totally sealed and it still did not suck the air out. Contacted ChefPreserve and after a few short questions to troubleshoot the device, I find that they had already shipped me a replacement free of charge! Now THAT’S great customer service! I was so prepared to argue the point, but they took that away from me with their kindness, professionalism and clear intent to keep a satisfied customer. Since then, I have ordered three of their glass containers for storing my liquidy food items and can’t wait to use them! ChefPreserve ROCKS and they definitely stand by their product. This is what makes for a long-term customer, in opinion. Good job, CP!

better than i thought
my old vacuum system wouldn't hold bag tight enough to get a good seal, and I was just tired of cutting all bags needed, and then sealing, and then filling and sealing again. and i love the idea of the reusable wash and use bags. I'm very impressed the way that the food stays so fresh even after a week in the fridge, even the veggies, and precut bagged stuff( shredded lettuce and cabbage). I'm almost ready to order more bags, or the glass storage containers. i would(did) recommend this to other people. LOVE THIS SYSTEM
