A rewarding experience today. The manager was friendly, helpful, informative and honest. He found an item had a higher carat rating than I thought. The quoted gold price was far higher than any other local company and payment instant into my bank account.

This was a fabulous experience. Extremely friendly, very helpful and unbelievably honest . I had previously been on the website for a gold price and when I took my gold in ti the shop, I was told my scales were incorrect and the gold was more weight in grams than expected. I would not go anywhere else in the future. It was a perfect experience and I highly recommend.

Amazing - I was initially apprehensive about doing this but decided to give it a try. The customer service is outstanding and payment immediately you agree with their offer. Odd bits which were not gold or silver have been donated to “Mind” their charity.

I got gold approximate valuation on day 1, postage bag on day 2, offer on day 3. I accepted offer on day 3 and the money was paid into my account immediately.

I was offered £860 by a reputable hi street shop and £550 from another. Cheshire gold quoted me £1479 based on my description so I was very pleasantly surprised when they paid me £1625.

I visited the store today and got £822 for a sovereign that I was offered £488 in H&T pawnshop in St Helens yesterday. This is family ran business they are very professional and fair with their prices. I highly recommend. I will be going back.

I knew the carat and weight of the two pieces I wanted to sell, so it made comparing online sites easier. My items were over £1500 in value so I was determined to research it properly.

Research included checking out the firms were registered, legit and had decent reviews across different platforms. I also had the items checked at a local jeweller too so there were no surprises or arguments waiting on weight and carat.

Cheshire offered the best price estimate online of half a dozen sites I checked, which was v close to their final offer--within a couple of pounds.

Process of ordering an appropriately insured envelope (at no cost) was easy & quick, envelope arrived in a few days over the New Year, I sent it back to the firm same day from my local post office, retained my proof of postage. Offer was emailed at lunchtime next day, I accepted, and cash was in my account by 3pm.

I do highly recommend this company, but please be canny and do appropriate research and comparison estimates. The difference online I was being quoted for the same items was £300 to £450 LESS by four firms. I had a couple of estimates in the same ballpark as the final agreed price with Cheshire.

Nice bloke explained everything as he went along , tested and weighed in front of me and gave me a good price.

After taking my necklace to a local jewellery store and being offered what I thought was a reasonable amount, I started to do some online research. I got quotes from several online buyers, but found Cheshire Gold Exchange who are relatively close to me in the North West they also have a shop, this in particular interested me as I could actually take my gold and get it valued there and then rather than sending it through the post.

I got an online price first from their website, but then took it to the shop, I was offered 35% more for my gold than the jewellery store which equated to approx. £1200 difference between the quotes, money sent there and then direct to my bank, all checked, tested, sold and money transferred with 15 mins.
