Cheshire House Moves moved us 100+ miles from a large house to a small rented house, and we opted to pay for their packing service.

This could have been a stressful, but the enthusiasm and experience of the moving team made this easy.

It was great to have the company owner involved in all aspects of the move. The information he gave when visiting for estimation, was leagues better than the other companies. What was most important to us was being given the confidence that the specific moving team used would all be careful and sufficiently experienced to minimise the damage to the furniture and houses.

This company differs from some others by using a set of smaller vans depending on capacity requirements, rather than using huge vans. I am no expert in moving, but from what I saw this made it easier to pack the vehicles in a manner which minimises potential damage to the content.

Kieran was extremely professional and offered a great service to us during our move. From the quotation to the day, he was able to give us all the information we needed in a timely manner.
His team were brilliant and made the move stress free and painless. I couldn’t recommend this company any more highly than I do right now!

Kieran and his team were absolutely wonderful. I was moving my elderly MIL/FIL from Manchester to Cornwall, a huge undertaking for anyone. They were very professional. The team went at my disabled MIL’s pace, chatting to her and keeping her calm throughout. I can’t rate them highly enough. Great dealing with them all.

Moved my mother from Manchester to London. They were very quick and accommodative. They looked after my elderly mother and brought her with them. I didn’t have to be there as they took care of everything. She said Stephen and Matthew were calm and collective and did an excellent job. Had a really good experience with CHM, they were very friendly, packed everything quickly and expertly, nothing was damaged in the move. They even dismantled and rebuilt my king sized bed for me. Would recommend to anyone.

Kieran, Steve and Matthew helped us move from Manchester to Darlington today. Prior to moving, they were easy to contact and very responsive. They continued to be professional, efficient and friendly on the day of the move. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a removal service.

First contacted Cheshire House moves 4 months before our move and was greated with an incredibly quick response from Kieran. He then arranged to come and see our property in the next few days which he duly did and quoted within a few days.

The quote was great, very competitive, and after comparing a few other companies, we decided that Kieran professionalism and approach wouod be right for us.

We kept in regular contact over the coming months and gave good notice of our move dates and plans.

In the days before the move, we had final contact and confirmation of the time, of their arrival and time of ETA.

On the day the team turned up in really good time, with 4 of the team, plus Kieran himself, 3 vans and what an amazing job they did. Loaded up in 3-4 hours, incredibly carefully, attentively and we were very impressed by their friendly nature, happy demeanour and incredibly professionalism.

At the unload, they completed in around 4 hours and were fantastic at checking where we wanted things and left with the house clean and tidy and things incredibly well packed carefully for us to begin unpacking.

Genuinely we could not have been more pleased, we would recommend them again, in an instance, top, top job. Thank you guys. 👍

Kieran was very responsive at answering questions via email and was very professional throughout moving day. Kieran, Matthew and Ste were really friendly guys and took extra care with the furniture during the move. They laid down rugs to protect the floor and used a protector cover for the front doors. Nothing got damaged or broken and I would thoroughly recommend them to anyone looking for a removal company. 10/10 service!

Couldn’t ask for anything more. They made my moving day so much less stressful. They didn’t need much instruction, didn’t complain about anything, were really friendly and professional. This is the first time I’ve moved house so have nothing to compare to but I was very impressed and will definitely be recommending to everyone I speak to!

I hired them for a house move between Manchester and Windermere (in the middle of winter no less!). Kieran was really friendly - he popped round to get an understanding of everything I needed moving, and provided me with a quote later the same day.

I was a bit nervous because I'd never hired movers before, but Kieran and his team put me at ease immediately. They were really communicative, arrived on time with a smile, and were polite, professional, and friendly the entire time. They really took the stress out of a very busy day. I've since told anyone who's asked how great they were.

And to this day, I still don't know how they managed to lug a superking bed and sofa up three flights of narrow stairs...
