Deceptive marketing and useless discount codes
Very disappointing experience with their marketing tactics. I was about to purchase "The Signature Trio Set", which automatically included a "free gift" in the cart. I left the checkout pending, and shortly after, their system sent me an automated email urging me to complete my purchase with a 10% discount code (HELLO10).
However, when I tried to use the code they explicitly sent me to finish my order, the system blocked it, stating it couldn't be combined with existing promotions (referring to the "free" gift).
Why send a customer a specific discount code to finish their exact cart if your system already knows it won't work? When I contacted Customer Service, I just got a generic, automated-sounding apology saying "the system doesn't allow it" and they made zero effort to fix the issue.
It feels like a cheap trick and false advertising just to lure you back to the checkout page. I emptied my cart and will not be buying from a company that uses these kinds of deceptive practices.
