Just received my chip today and installed it in about 60 seconds including reading the directions and finding the plug to clip the chip.
I noticed the extra HP right away, even though the instructions says it takes 150 miles before you notice the full effect of 60 HP and the extra 5 MPGs.
I would highly recommend the chip, easiest, fastest and cheapest way to add performance to your ride. Thank you!

This company delivered exactly what they advertised. The stage 3 chip made my already impressive Porsche Cayenne GTS even more fun!
Can't really say anything about the mileage, because I like to drive fast and pass quickly, and, I live in the mountains.
I'm not a good role model for maximizing fuel mileage.

I purchased a level three chip for my vehicle. The shipping was very fast and when I received it I installed it into my vehicles OBD2 port and followed the instructions that came with the packaging. After running the vehicle with the chip for the recommended number of miles, I noticed no change in the performance of the vehicle (0-60) times at the track. They were identical with or without the chip. I tried an additional two more times to install the chip per the instructions and again, no change in performance. I became very suspicious so I decided to reach out anonymously to the chat portion of the site to ask about the level 3 chip for my vehicle. Devin was who responded and in the course of our chat told me that they see an "average" of about 40+ horsepower gain with the level 3 chip for my car. Keep in mind the site clearly markets 60 hp increase and +4-6 mpg improvement with any level 3 chip for any make and model car. That level of consistency is clearly not attainable for so many different engine types (turbo, normally aspirated, etc.). I was shocked that Devin told me the chip averaged only a 40hp gain for my make and model. Nowhere on the site is that clearly stated that performance may be less.

I did some further digging on Amazon and found that CYC advertised a "universal" chip for all vehicles. Yes, plug it in to any car with and OBD2 port and away you go with more power and better fuel economy. So I went back to the site on a different day to inquire about the universal chip on Amazon. Again, Devin was my contact on the live message function on the site. I asked him the difference between a specific chip for your make and model vs his universal chip on Amazon. His response - the universal chip will give you more power. First of all there is no such thing as a universal tuning chip. Period. Every engine requires specific fuel mapping for that type of engine. Right then, I knew this product was complete and utter garbage. Ironically, I just checked Amazon and the CYC universal chip is no longer on the site for sale (I took screenshots when it was however). Remember this site boasts 100% results guaranteed and the same performance for all levels of chips for all makes and models. If however, a universal chip can work on any vehicle, why have all of the different makes/models of chips right?!?

Here is the kicker, straight from their website under the Disclaimer section. ..."We strive to provide as accurate results as possible. Either through Dyno and road testing or direct customer feedback. Our claims are based majorly from customer feedback from using our parts and years of experience in the industry."

Their claims are based majorly from customer feedback??? Really? Is that what they use to promote 100% results guaranteed (by most of it through customer feedback)?How about posting dyno results and road tests to back your claims instead of "customer feedback"? Yet if you search high and low for any videos of dyno/road tests for CYC you will find a grand total of one. It's a slicked up video by Vantage Point Marketing that does not offer hard proof that the chip in the video is producing gains. It's so heavily edited that it's impossible to confirm the results in the video.

This company makes claims that it cannot back up with clear evidence and relies mostly on customer feedback for proof of performance (read it for yourself on their website). If you look for videos that validate OBD2 chip tuners you will find nothing credible. If you look for videos that prove they don't work your basket will be full.

Knowing this product was not as advertised, I returned it for a refund. Save your money and get a proper ECU remap/tune from a reputable shop.

I was running low 14s before I installed your chip. I got your 60hp. chip and my Honda ran middle 14s a 14.6 to be exact. 60hp should have easily put me in the high 13s. So either I did not receive the 60hp chip or your product does not work. Either way I am very disappointed and at this point would not recommend this product to anyone.

The chip did not even fit into the plug,
The 30 day guarantee was not long enough.
I can't comment on the performance of the chip. It has been a scam and worthless in my experience.

I purchased two stage three Chips recently, one for my 2017 Chevrolet Suburban and one for my 2016 Audi Q5 with a Supercharged V6. My 2017 Chevrolet Suburban has a noticeable increase in power and Torque, but have not noticed a fuel mileage increase as of yet.
Now for my Supercharged Audi V6 Q5. I have had a Racechip on it for 2yrs and was satisfied with the power and torque, however it had been quite unstable with accelerating and transmission shifts no matter how many adjustments I have made. I decided to try Chipyourcar. I disconnected the racechip and then installed the Chip from Chipyourcar. Oh boy! What a difference it gave my Audi! It has comparable power and Torgue of the Racechip, but way more stability, much smoother acceleration and much better transmission shifts in all modes.
Also (nice bonus) increased my fuel mileage by 2mph. I am extremely pleased with this Chip! And guess what no joke, it really does only take 60 seconds to install! How refreshing. I took off the cumbersome RaceChip and threw it in a box. Keep up the great work! Based on my experience I highly recommend Chipyourcar!

Once again I must give Devin five stars for his continued help and for the chipyourcar product. It's awesome it works and I'm a True Believer.

Devin's help was nothing short of phenomenal! He answered absolutely every question I had ... and I had a lot of them. I was on the fence with purchasing this chip, but each reason for me to be on the fence was taken care of when Devin's assistance ultimately made the decision for me. No brainer.

This chip rips! It’s made my Passat way more fun to drive and it’s absolutely idiot proof. Also the delivery was insanely quick. Great company/ product that I would definitely recommend to anyone.

Was I skeptical? YES. Can I not wait to take my car through the canyon to the beach tomorrow? YES. Absolutely great product. Was a fan of chipping my Audi A5 but in conjunction with the chip, the Launchpad is phenomenal. Buy it before your friends. They will buy it after seeing it perform in your vehicle. With all the increased performance, the fact I can dial it all the way down when my kids drive my car is just another plus. This thing is a winner.

I couldn't have got a better product anywhere else, the salesman I talked too was very knowledgeable about the product, patient with all of my questions, and very informative, I noticed an immediate increase to my MPG (4 to 5 MPG) and I did notice a snappier throttle response especially in Sport + Mode, I had not had my car for very long before I bought this chip and I could really tell a difference in performance after I installed the chip, I would and have reccommended this product to anyone I know that is looking to upgrade their performance and gas milage in their vehicle.

I didn’t notice any power increase or any increase in gas mileage after 500 Miles of use. They said to give it 150 miles to evaluate and I did but by the time that happened the 30 day refund time limit was up. After a few months I unplugged it and have not noticed any difference in the performance of my Tacoma before the chip or after the chip. I would not buy this chip again.

I purchased the chip for my 2017 GMC 3/4 ton pickup 6L engine (19K miles on the odometer)
There has been no gain in gas mileage. I believed there was a gain in horsepower but that was the optimist in me.
Last week I drove from NY to CO and averaged 14.4 miles traveling more than 1800 miles on interstates. I am going back to NY at the end of the month and will remove the chip to compare the mileage.
While I’m in CO I’m going to keep the chip installed (not sure why). When you spend nearly $300 for something it’s normal to expect something in return.
Chip your car should be very interest to know the results I achieve driving the same 1800 miles back to NY without their chip installed. If you are too, stay “tuned” as I will write an updated review in early October.

I’m back in NYS. While in CO I talked to a Chip Your Car rep who was very willing to help. After determining the chip may be the issue I received another one and installed per new instructions he gave me. I drove back to NYS with no increase in mpg.

My last order from ChipMyCar, had a little hiccup. However, the folks at Chip My Car, were on top of everything and I found out the mfg. of part I had ordered had made a mistake in production I was told what the issue was and that it was to be corrected as quickly as possible...and it was. I was kept informed throughout the delay and received the corrected order and along with a credit to my account.. I could not be happier with the treatment I received from those good folks. Rare in today's world. Thank you Chip My Car, Launch Pad. I'll be back.
