Look elsewhere!
If you want to waste your time and send your money on holidays, then this shop is for you.
After placing an order on 16/10/24, I was a little concerned when I had received no updates come 27/12/24. Knowing it was the crazy season, I respectfully reached out to them via email asking if there were any updates. With no updates received by 30/12/24, I once again reached out and was met with a blunt email stating I had ticked a box agreeing that my order would not be sent until 2/1/25. Having no recollection of this, I went back to the site and went through the checkout process to find this message didn't exist anywhere, not via Apple Pay (which skips the checkout) or even with a manual card entry. If I had known this, I would have kept my order and not emailed asking for an update. I certainly wasn't going to kick up a stink over them having some time off, that's not fair at all.
I responded in saying that this tick box or message was nowhere to be seen on their website and suggested that maybe they make it a little more prominent on their site in future just to prevent any misunderstandings on both sides. I also responded, as requested, that I was happy to keep my order and await the delivery.
Come 8/1/25, I'm still yet to receive any updates to the order. I guessed there would have been a delay with backed up orders, so I sent a very short and respectful email asking for an update.
The next thing I know I'm called out for not answering their question on if I wanted to keep or cancel my order, yet I had very clearly stated in one line "I'm happy to keep the order and await the delivery".
Not only did they not read my full email, of which wasn't very long, they neglected to ask for an update or clarification, letting my order go untouched for a further week.
I very much understand it was a busy time, however leaving the customer unaware of delays and then not even bothering to read the response that they requested is just terrible customer service.
Thankfully they did cancel the order and have submitted the refund, so that's good. Just the wasted time and effort I won't be getting back!
