Thank you Orla, you’ve been very helpful and supportive throughout.

No contract issued, changed the terms of duties without notice, verbally agreed a daily rate then put a lower one in an email, refused to pay for additional duties, expected to set cover if the temporary teacher wasn't in school because they were at an interview (they were the cover!), ignored emails, claimed not to be in the office even though you could hear them denying being there (some of them don't know how to use the mute function), send rude emails if a complaint is made. Every temporary teacher I've asked about them has said the same thing - I left and don't deal with them any more.
