Extremely Disappointed – Moldy, Discolored Chocolate and Awful Customer Service
I ordered chocolate from Chokladshopen.se via their online shop and received products that were clearly discolored and showed signs of mold, even though the expiration date was still far off. This is not just unacceptable, it's a serious health concern.
I reached out to their customer service twice, hoping they would take responsibility or at least show some willingness to help. Instead, I was met with dismissive responses and no resolution whatsoever. They showed no understanding, no apology, and absolutely no interest in making things right.
This kind of behavior is not only unprofessional, it's disgraceful. I trusted this company to send me quality products and they failed completely. Judging by their refusal to take accountability, I will never order from them again and I strongly advise others to stay away.
If you care about product quality, hygiene, and basic customer service, look elsewhere.

We want to clarify for all readers that the issue was identified as chocolate bloom, a harmless cosmetic effect from temperature changes, not mold. This is common when chocolate is stored over time.
Your order was delivered 6.5 months before it was reported to us. Given this extended timeframe, especially over a summer, the issue is related to storage conditions beyond our control. The remaining stock from the same batch in our temperature-controlled facility is in perfect condition.
Although this was not a product defect, we engaged with you twice via email and, as a gesture of goodwill, offered two different discount codes (first 10%, then 15%) for a future order, especially as you mentioned needing fresh chocolate for upcoming events.
We are sorry this solution was not what you had hoped for. We pride ourselves on our product quality and transparent customer service, and we believe our team acted fairly and professionally in this situation.
