Great product. Chris's fret crowning tool is the best I've ever used. Easy to hold with a very well designed ergonomic grip, and a good diamond cutting surface. He even supplies instructions and a tool to clean it after use. It's under half the price of the leading Japanese one too.
Okay, I can get results as good as those (if not better) by using my old trusty triangular file, but then I have many years' experience. For those who are inexperienced or without too much mechanical aptitude, this tool, if used in accordance with the instructions, will give excellent results without worry.

This is the second bridge saddle Chris has made for me. Really improve the sound and look of a classical guitar. Very quick considering they are hand made to precise measurements. Great serrvice.

Chris has made a modified copy in bone of the 'over piezo' plastic saddle for my Epiphone electro acoustic which has resulted in a huge improvement to the sound and making the action just a tad lower, so that much easier on the fingers.
It is now an actual pleasure to play.

Included in the package were clearly written instructions as well as a DVD on fitting the saddle,along with sandpaper,Scotchbrite and wire wool to fine tune the length,thus ensuring a snug,polished fit in the bridge.
The piezo is working fine with the saddle's necessary modification and it is a beautifully finished upgrade for a nearly thirty year old guitar .

The care and attention to detail in the fret file I purchased was fantastic, you only get this from small businesses where they really care.
It came with a set of instructions on use, sanding strips and a cleaning rubber, none of which I was expecting. I will be back again I am sure.

The Chris Alsop diamond fret crown file is just outstanding 🤗. I was at the final stages of building a strat and very unhappy with the frets. Having bought a ‘cheap’ fret crowning tool from Amazon I did not know what to do as the tool hardly made a difference. Within an hour of Chris’s tool arriving my frets were perfect 🤩.
I used to be a diamond toolmaker 40+ years ago…this is a remarkable tool. Do not even think of buying any other on the market anywhere at any price.

Wanted a slightly non standard nut, got exactly what I needed and it fitted well with minimal finishing. A quality product and it came supplied with comprehensive instructions and finishing materials. I would have no hesitation purchasing from Chris again.
