Poor communication and water leaks
Our move-in date was moved by two days after the landlord failed to install appliances. On move-in day, they still hadn't installed them. They then rushed to do so.
Additionally, our keys were not ready that day, either. We did not receive keys until the next day. In the meantime, our doors were left unlocked and people entered our property without notice.
Then, they installed a washer instead of the washer/dryer combo they had promised at the viewing. When I showed this to the landlord, he promised to replace it. After hearing nothing back from his team, we contacted Chris Anthony Estates via phone call and email. Our contact - Marta - did not respond. Later, they asked us to let investors into our property for a viewing. We asked why they had failed to respond to our previous requests, and they said they'd 'try to talk to the landlord.' We still haven't heard back.
Last night, we noticed water coming out from under the sink, washer, dishwasher and other cabinets. We emailed them last night, asking for help. When we hadn't heard back this morning, we tried calling but Marta was always away from her desk. Finally, we heard back from John who told us they'd fix it in 1-2 days.
I called and asked why 1-2 days, and he said that's just how it was. I informed him that water was still coming out, and he asked if we were using our washer. I said, "No. We haven't used it in days." He then asked if we were using the dishwasher. I replied, "No. We haven't used it in days." He then became very upset, claiming I was being aggressive with him.
Based on my interactions with Marta and John, I think it's clear Chris Anthony Estates cares very little for tenants and only cares about the landlords. They will rush to email you when the landlord wants something and leave you with a water leak when you need help.
Avoid them if at all possible.
