Chris is formidable. Highly experienced trainer, adaptable and an all round nice person. Highly recommended.
Chris is an expert in what he does. Really is a cut above the rest as he does rehabilitation and knows injuries well. Always improving his skills and connected to other medical professionals as needed. Highly recommend and a nice person as well
Chris is absolutely brilliant as my trainer. Having been referred to him by my excellent physio following major ACL surgery, Chris has been inspiring. I suffer from other balance difficulties which have been with me since I was 18 from a major RTA and head injury. He’s adapted my workouts to incorporate exercises to really help this too.
I really enjoy the sessions. Chris varies them each time - and most importantly I feel each one makes a difference in making me feel fitter, more flexible, leaner and toned, more stable plus healthier in my head. He genuinely cares about getting it right and he’s fun at the same time.
I couldn’t recommend Chris more highly for anyone looking for a committed personal trainer!
I am an elite PT myself, and even I had to seek the skill set of Chris. Not only did he fix my injuries he strengthened them. Would 1000% recommend Chris to people of any level who want their body to work to its best. Both in person and online via zoom
I have been training with Chris Baker for over 10 years, 2-3 times a week and he is extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of training and he significantly helped the speedy recovery of a tennis injury.
I've had a few Personal Trainers. The difference with Chris is that he is invested in my physical health. I genuinely feel that my success (and setbacks) are Chris' too.
In terms of results, Chris has helped rehab my shoulder from the low point post surgery to fully rehabbed, more flexible than ever. Overall I value Chris' dual focus on flexibility and strength, find myself stronger in all activities and, importantly, have never suffered an injury under his care.
Finally, Chris' positive and supportive approach makes the time fly by.
Chris is a fantastic trainer. He is incredibly knowledgeable and knows which exercises to select to help injury and also rehabilitation. I cannot recommend him highly enough.
Chris is unique in what he does and how he approaches personal training. Having worked with a number of different PT’s over the years, Chris cut through most in terms of his methods, leaning heavily on the science behind movement and the mechanics of the body, coupled with getting a deep understanding on individual goals, objectives and lifestyle. Chris focuses on mobility and improving movement, creating a very different and bespoke experience. One that is challenging, fun (Chris is a good laugh, has great taste in music, less so in his choice of football team…) and most importantly, rewarding for the body and mind. I can’t speak highly enough of Chris and his professionalism.
Chris has been helping me build strength after a back injury, and train for rowing events in the summer. He is incredibly knowledgable, patient and approachable, and provides great and challenging training personalised to my specific goals. He is really supportive and positive and has been brilliant helping me build confidence after my injury, as well as being a great guy. I would definitely recommend him to anyone.
Honestly I couldn’t recommend Chris more…he really helped my back issues and he has taught me so much about my body and joints. His attentiveness and care ensures personalised training that will always target what you need. Plus - he’s funny lol! A great trainer all around!
Whilst I’m in my 40s and relatively fit, I like a challenge and Chris Baker helped me achieve my goal of conditioning my body to take on one of the most difficult water endurance marathons, the K2 DW (Devizes to Westminster). Through his expert and knowledgeable guidance, he successfully helped improve my range of motion and movement to fine tune my abilities to build up my strength and to make my body more efficient. Without him I would never have been able to make it. I still see him now for sessions to keep up with a healthy lifestyle, but I can’t rate Chris highly enough. He is amazing at what he does, as well as being a true Gent too!
Chris was my trainer for a number of years when I lived in London. His knowledge and experience make him one of the best trainers I’ve come across. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone wanting to improve their health and fitness.
I worked with Chris for two years intensively. Started with a long-term shoulder issue and then actually supported progression across whole body, with an emphasis on good mobility. I have no hesistation in recommending Chris to anyone.
