Many Members Are NOT Christians!
I joined this site appox two years ago, and none of the people who wanted to meet me where actually Christians! Not one of them went to any kind of religious place, and the one guy met, expected me to go on holiday with him after meeting up for coffee for 1hour! Why is this site called Christian Connection when it fails to ensure that its members are actually Christians?

Really bad dating site they do nothing…
Really bad dating site they do nothing about stalking and harassment to females on line and if you don’t wish to date a different skin colour you get told you have breached their terms and conditions and you get kicked out, I was reported because I didn’t want to date someone I didn’t fancy and he stalked me. Also it’s not Christian as it has other faiths and witches on this site. This is one of the worst dating sites about.

Just as bad as the secular sites
Unfortunately this site is a magnet for scammers, users and dangerous males. Christian Connection's safety protocols are not up to scratch at all despite their expensive membership fees.
I have been a member on and off for 10 years. I regularly receive offensive and sexual messages. One guy sent me abusive messages threatening to have his friends rape me. The police contacted CC about it. They banned him but 2 years later, he's back! He's even using the same photos!
I have also been catfished numerous times. And other "Christians" hide their phone numbers in their profiles to get round CC's rules.
In general, CC's ethics are very questionable. How can a "Christian" site encourage people who are only "separated" (aka still married) to date?! CC gave me a wishy-washy answer including the words "inclusive" and "non-judgemental". They also don't bother about people who put "single" instead of "divorced" from the drop-down menu.
They are also quite tolerant of racism. Took quite a lot of complaining to have a comment to the effect that black people can't be British removed.
It's telling that CC have disabled the reviews section on their facebook page.

Firstly, we are genuinely sorry to hear about your upsetting experience. We take the safety and well-being of all our members extremely seriously and have several steps in place to detect and remove scammers and bad actors from our platform. This includes removing any duplicate profiles whose details match what we have on file. In this case, unfortunately, no details of the new account matched the one we closed four years ago.
As a member of the Online Dating and Discovery Association, we follow the best practices in the industry and take swift action when we receive serious reports, as we did here.
It's important to note, that we have a zero-tolerance policy for abusive, threatening, or unsolicited sexual messages. We maintain stringent guidelines regarding acceptable behaviour on our platform, and any member found in violation of these guidelines is promptly removed.
We haven’t seen a copy of the messages referencing the threat you mentioned here, and to date, the police have not contacted us regarding your report. If you still have these messages or any communication with the police that mentions this, we would be very grateful if you could send these to us, to assist us in our investigation and to ensure the safety of our community.

The value is great for money spent! It's inexpensive to become a subscribed member. I actually received multiple messages from other members. I believe I could actually meet a potential mate here. Patience is a virtue and if you don't get responses right away; don't give up!

Incredible ethos and customer service
I had to contact customer serviece with an unusual request. I did not think I had much chance of success. I was pleasantly surprised that my query was personally addressed in a most understanding and helpful way, just as the website promises that every message CC receives gets read. Got to be worth a go . Free trial and I converted it to a 1 month subscription £28 and seeing as I’m getting a lot of interest I cancelled straight away but still able to use the site until my 1 month expires .

User friendly website to find true love
Through Christian Connection I have met some fine people and was encouraged to see a few of my friends finding true love. Also the blogs are really inspiring for this journey. The website is user friendly, neat and clear, and you can see who is online at the time. The staff have been very helpful and efficient when resolving issues. The profile format gives the opportunity for members to write sufficiently, so that others can get a fair picture. I would recommend it to my friends.

I'm not sure what went wrong with this website. It seems to be consistently down-graded over time to the point it's almost non-functional.
Having got rid of the discussion boards which were a great way of communicating with other Christians, they've now even dispensed with the search function!
That's correct - a dating site with no search function!!!!
So, where previously one was able to search for members using metrics such as their locality, the date they joined the site, when they were last online etc., now there's only an "online now" option and a very random "discover" page which merely shows a selection of the past and present members to randomly scroll through. The emphasis is definitely on the former though as clicking on the majority of these members shows that most haven't been active for quite some time!
I'm also rather suspicious of the fact that so many self-proclaimed "Christian" women on this website haven't even got the common courtesy to reply to messages. I'd say less than 10% of messages I've sent have received any reply at all. I'm not necessarily suggesting that these profiles are fake, but it does make one think.
I'm also of the opinion that there is a glaring disparity in gender balance between male and female on this site with massively more men than women on here - although, that's probably true of all internet dating platforms.
Returning to the so-called "search" functions on this site - something quite recent on this site is a sinister "default" setting in terms of the age of those that one is allowed to view on the site. As the few members I've spoken to on this site weren't aware that this limitation was surreptitiously imposed on their profile and that to bypass this and therefore have their profile available for viewing by a wider age-range they'd have to rectify their settings personally, I'm not sure what the agenda behind this strategy is.
It's almost as if a clique of devil-worshipers has recently taken over this site with the intention of making it super-difficult for genuine Christians to meet each other!
Either that or, in the BEST case scenario, the continuing down-grading of site functionality and sneakily imposed restrictions are to maximise profits for the site in a very un-Christian manner.
One thing to note is that totally free websites such as fusion101.com and christiandatingforfree.com have much greater functionality and are completely free to use!
Finally, it's strange and suspicious that all of the recent 5-star reviews for this site are by people who have only 1 or 2 other reviews to their name!
