Nice to meet someone online who has shared similar experiences and has a real passion to take on life and try things. Didn't find this person much in person when meeting people in the everyday Christian circles I had been apart of, so refreshing.

Regarding the Upper and Lower Age Gaps.

If I am paying for a service, I believe I should be given the full autonomy to choose what I want. In your age gaps, you have not given me full control of what age I want to see but rather given me a few age ranges for people to choose from.

If I am paying for it then I believe I should be allowed to choose what age group I want rather than you forcing me to choose from your set age groups or gaps.

I am 52 and I do not want to view profiles of people who are older than me but there is no option given for me to be able to make this happen.

I think Christian connection needs to review this age gap issue and give subscribers more flexibility.

For example, a subscriber may want to ONLY view people who are 1 or 2 years older than them but unfortunately there is no way to make this happen.

Christian Connection is the best datting site because they are purely honest comparing with others. Anyone who are in the search of relationship I obviously suggest to use Christian Connection.

I paid for a full membership subscription on the site. I've had bad experiences with online dating sites with stalkers and harassers in the past, so used a pseudonym name. That usually is not a problem with online profiles as they are visible all over the world and not everybody wants to be identified by gossip-mongering neighbours or locals. I also look a lot younger than I am and have a young attitude to life, get along with men who are much younger than me, and would like to meet someone within that age range. (Unfortunately, there is a fixed search range on the site.) So put a younger age in my profile to enable a wider search. I am also moving interstate soon and would like to meet someone online in the new area to meet up with when I move, so put my new location into my profile. Usually not a problem with other sites.
But the next day I received an email from CC saying I'd been "flagged by their security" and they demanded that I send a copy of my licence or passport with photo ID.
So, CC had all my bank card and account details. Now they wanted my photo ID.
No prizes for guessing what those two factors usually lead to.
Stay away from it. Their attitude is like the CIA or gestapo. Anybody can set up a dating website. You can buy them on ebay for $100. Nobody has the right to demand your photo ID, especially an anonymous nobody running a franchise of dating sites.
Plus, the same nobodies can collect all members' personal info and sell or pass it on to others to locate you.

I don't see the logic to CC's reply "that the reason for the request is to protect your account and your personal information from potential fraud or theft."
How is demanding MY photo ID, after getting my bank details, going to do that? No logic there at all.
I have asked CC for their policy regarding demanding photo ID and they still haven't sent it to me.
They have since told me that a number of accounts with different names were created from the same device, which is a downright lie.
I created ONE initial account using a pseudonym and VPN to take a look at the site to decide if I wanted to join. That was an unpaid account. The VPN caused problems as CC automatically logged me into NZ and sent matches from that country, even though I continually changed the country home page. That's why I opened a separate account with a new pseudonym and email, which CC obviously treats people as criminals for and they assume they can invade people's privacy for doing something so simple.
All correspondence from CC has been signed as - Christian Connection, Sarah, Victoria, or Jonathan.
No other details.
So, they assume the right to track people's devices, get their bank details, demand photo ID as licence or passport, while they hide behind first names and company name without any further identification of themselves.
What gives a website owner the right to get anybody's licence or passport number and access those details?
Only government officials or the police can do that.

I really like the site, but it's a complete ghost town from where I live; Washington state. It would be helpful if they advertised more for US customers.

Overall Christian Connection is good and I would recommend, but there are some things that could be better designed.

Pros:
· Level of detail possible in the profile and a good range of sections
· Being able to set filters for age, distance, ethnicity etc.
· Being able to scan multiple people on the homepage
· No limits (as far as I can see) on the number of people you can view/message/match each day

Areas for improvement:
· When I first signed up, my profile became active before I had even finished filling it out - there should be a 'save/become live' button before this occurs.
· One set of filters should work both ways i.e. should filter what you see and also control whether other people can see you. The age range you are 'shown to' uses different categories to the filters that affect who is shown to you, which is odd. Also, if you are a free (unpaid) member, you only get age filters to control who you are shown to, but because you have to click through to people's profiles to see their ages and thereby show up in their 'viewed you' tab, this can lead to messages from people outside your age preferences.
· The app should have the same functionality as the webpage - it was incredibly confusing to read on the help page about the 'viewed you' tab and having no sign of that in the app. A lot of people just use the apps now!
· Possibly the biggest disadvantage is that without a subscription you can't send messages other than preset replies - which effectively means you can't take it past a mutual like or wave with anyone unless *both* of you have paid.
· I think it would be better to separate the list of likes from the list of messages, because it is confusing having them both in the same tab, and means searching up and down to find the people you are actually communicating with.

Profiles are as detailed as you choose to make it. Nicely layout pages.

Poor experience and discriminatory. A guy was rude towards me on the sight and I responded thanking him for revealing his true self as I would not want to be with anyone with this kind of behaviour. CC sided with the guy and sent me a warning. It made me feel uncomfortable as a female on a dating website, CC does not provide any protection to ensure you are safe. Ive complained and they've now closed my account

It's value for money and easy to use the fault I find is there's not enough full members mostly unpaid members who you can't communicate with.

At the moment no member has contacted me. I find that most of the members live too far away.

Wish I had done this sooner. After waiting to meet a good Christian woman for so long I thought I would try Christian Connection but not believing it would help. I thought it would just be for young people and who would want a 68 year old man? How wrong could I be? Not only were there so many lovely Christian women of a similar age but also many responded quickly. It may not be typical but within a few weeks I had over 80 likes. Of course many were not suitable mainly due to locality but I always asked God for just one person and so far I think I have found her. I find the site so easy to use and the filters work well. Giving a ‘wave’ and leaving a message is so easy and discreet. So my advice is to try it. It is easy to use and very reasonably priced. You have very little to lose but possibly a lot to gain.

Excellent service. Christian connections

Quite a good website and one of the better ones. Would like to see a discussion forum. On any of these websites, people can try to make themselves out to be what they are not so genuine christians do need to be careful and show some discernment but that is true of all these websites. Having looked at a number of these companies and their reviews, this is definitely a company that is trying to do the right thing.
