Chuckling Goat Reviews 

When I set out on my experiment with Chuckling Goat kefir nine months ago, I didn’t plan to be addressing alcohol dependence. That’s where it’s taken me, so I thought I’d write a longer review in case anyone might find my experience helpful.

I’ve been diligent about diet and health since taking control of what I ate when I was able to cook for myself in my second year of university. Along the way, I accepted without question that fibre was a “bulking agent” that swept things through my lower intestine, which improved bowel movements and regularity and probably absorbed toxins that the liver expels with bile into the initial part of the lower intestine. That seemed important to health, so I’ve taken some “indigestible” fibre each day, generally psyllium, and for 15 years I’ve experimented with more exotic fibre supplements, from top brands and some quite expensive. All fibre that was “indigestible”—such a simple item of toxic misinformation that we have all consumed.

About five years ago, I allowed myself to hold the hypothesis that the microbiome might exist. In the interest of brevity, that took me many places. Relevant here is that I considered that I had found a voice––that may sound dramatic but I’ll take the risk––heard from parts of my microbiome of the moment (I assume it is constantly changing) as it reacted to certain types of food. The easy one was sucrose-fructose, which causes brain fog and then makes me emotionally erratic. Something in wheat that gives me a flash of anger. When I tuned into those “voices,” (read “urges” if you prefer less drama) it was clear to me that in my private experiments I could consistently reproduce those two voices by taking sugar or wheat respectively. I could write at length about my love affair with spaghetti carbonara and the voices that call for it, but let’s leave that.

Then, and I apologise for the storytelling, it occurred to me that perhaps there was a part of my microbiome that reacted to alcohol, if so, there might be a voice there too. That innocent hypothesis changed many things. I’ve never been an alcoholic, as alcoholics sometimes say with confidence, but my alcohol dependence is not something I was comfortable with. Minimally, I have had a hard time “skipping a day,” which clearly shouldn’t be a problem. Now, when I feel the urge, or hear that that voice, saying at about the same time each evening, “We can open the wine now, it’s time,” I have the awareness, even the power, to question the voice.

After nine months on Chuckling Goat kefir, I find I can detect another voice, and that voice says something like, very very quietly, “let’s not have the wine, we’d rather not.” I believe that voice (urge) is from something in my microbiome associated with Chuckling Goat kefir. Obviously that is the least reliable hypothesis in what you’re reading. If you haven’t read the long list of bacteria that are in their kefir, I suggest you have a look. Looks to me like anything could be possible.

I no longer drink alcohol.

I don’t want this to sound like a rave. I attribute a remarkable improvement in skin clarity, texture and smoothness to Chuckling Goat. I’m sleeping better, and I believe that’s also Chuckling Goat. But this is so non-scientific that I feel just pathetic putting it in a review. Obviously I am a loyal customer. If you’ve read this far, I recommend that you use the prebiotic that they offer with their kefir. I’m guessing that’s more important than they might lead you to believe. But I don’t know.

Finally, yes, this all may be my imagination. Certainly the voices.

But I don’t drink anymore.

Chuckling Goat kefir and prebiotic is excellent, it has definitely helped me to improve my digestive system and eased constipation and bloating. The subscription service they offer is fantastic, they manage my regular order on a 3 weekly basis which means I do not need to run out, yet its easy to adjust the date if I need to do so.

I started using the goats milk Kefir and prebiotic powder about two years ago as part of a process to change the life of an overweight 53 year city worker. For hereditary reasons, I was at high risk of bowel and colon cancer. The poor specialist who has to “take a peek” every couple of years said “oh - what have you done? You have taken 20 years off your gut age”. Still going strong - 20kg lighter and much happier. I have had to deal with two significant bereavements plus CoVid in past year and am sure I would not have coped without my improved gut health.

I’m just about to receive my 2nd course of Chuckling Goat Kefir and I’m addicted. It’s not the best taste I’ve ever tasted but I so look forward to making my smoothie with it first thing. I also add the complete prebiotic, blueberries, and flax seed oil. I’ve now ordered the collagen. It’s not something I’ll be able to afford long term, but I’ll do the 3 month course and then one every season as suggested.
What makes this such a great company is the customer service which in my view is second to none. The literature is great. Easy reading yet informative.

This excellent kefir combined with prebiotic powder and pure fish collagen when combined with soft fruits or whatever is in the fruit bowl makes a great smoothie. After only a week or two the strong taste grew on me, and six months later I really enjoy the taste of my smoothie breakfast every morning. I also appreciate the beneficial effect it has on my bowel and my well being. The service has always been great. Very helpful and friendly staff. I am very satisfied.

Have been purchasing CG kefir on and off for a number of years and am really happy with the product and the service. Not all kefir is created equal and as I find the CG one to be exceptional, I am anticipating that the prebiotic & collagen will also be of a similar high standard.

I have been driking goats milk kafir for over a year with regard to its health benefits and I am careful sbout my diet eating a range of pro and prebiotic, however I purchased chuckling goat kafir body lotion and it has caused a very painful and inflamed rash all over my body. I have now discontinued using and my skin has calmed down. I've not changed my diet and have never had a reaction like this. I still have 3 bottles left and it's not cheap so has proved an expensive mistake! Definitely would not recommend! Wonder if a refund would be on offer?

with the help of chuckling goat kefir and prebiotic powder I have overcome my leaky gut which i was told was incurable around 5 years ago.
although gut health is mainstream now it was groundbreaking all those years ago, and has truly changed my life..
