Use at your own risk

I used CIBT to obtain an Indian business visa.

they took payment right away - and then the issues slowly began.

I uploaded all my documentation, paperwork, passport etc.

Then rang them up on 3 separate occasions to explain that i was currently on holiday and that I would be able to send them my physical passport on a certain date

They said this was ok and we agreed that CIBT would book the VISA appointment at the visa office for a date that would give sufficient time for the passport to come back with the VISA in it, and for me to collect it.

Upon arrival back in the UK I posted them my passport and then followed up 2 days later to check that they had received it.

I then got a voicemail from an agent saying that they could only now book an appointment for one months time and that their advice to me was that i couldnt go on my business trip at the time i told them and that i would have to delay it a month!

Also note i started this visa process with them about 2 months before my trip.

I then had to ring them multiple times and email the UK ops director and essentially beg them to fix their mistake.

They eventually said they would take my passport and documents down to the VISA office and get an appointment the next day.

Luckily this worked and i was able to collect my passport with the visa in the day before i had to travel - but this was only because I kept ringing and ringing and saying that they needed to fix their mistake.

Terrible communication throughout and different teams do not talk to other teams. Each time they said they would leave a note on the system but it seemed to never get through to the relevant people.

Also i don't need a reply from CIBT here saying i can contact Martin Green as I have already done this.

Cancelled order but still charged over £600!!

I have not even submitted all the documentation as our travel plans changed, and needed to cancel the order. Not only have I been charged over £600 it is IMPOSSIBLE to reach anyone either by phone or email. How can I be charged for a service that hasn’t been carried out this is a scam!

Once chased a couple of times they actually started progressing things. It is a sweepstake if you get a knowledgeable uk based rep or an oversees “robot”.

Charged twice for one visa after but no refund.

I applied for a India business visa after I booked my travel . Submitted all my documents, photos and passport.

They charged me before starting the visa process.

CIBT came back said the India High Commission can’t process before my travel date. Ok I will take my passport back, re- arrange my travel and will resubmit the sane documents and passport.

This time all went well with the visa application and on completion, they charged me.

Note they charged me twice for one visa application and sane documents. Includes the India High Commission fees. Twice!

I phoned straightaway and spoke to an assistant. She could not help and asked me to email accounts team explaining I have been charged twice.

Which I did. Explain the whole story of changing travel dates due to Visa times not compatible with my travel date.

But no answer from them.

I will call once more and see if they can return my money.

Next choice is to complaint to my credit card company.

But why should I have to do this, it is visible s mistake had been made, easy to refund, but the silence treatment says they are not professional.

Worst service ever

Worst service ever. If you can please avoid CIBTvisas. The communication is poor, zero response. Applied for a visa, documents took ages to be returned. Never again will I use these useless people! Use CIBTvisas at your own risk!

One star is one too many.

CIBT were recommended by our travel agents, which is a very well respected company. CIBT rapidly took payment after we submitted the applications for US ESTAs, and that is all that happened in a month. No receipt, no acknowledgement, no order or reference number. I have written quite a few emails to CIBT, requesting clarity and an order number ---- when they replied they asked us for our order number!! This afternoon I have completed our ESTA applications on the US Govt Homeland Security website. It took two hours to obtain 2 ESTAs, at half the price of CIBT. We have cancelled our applications with CIBT and have requested a full refund.
I have advised our travel company that their recommendation has been of significant hindrance.

VISA not required for UK citizens…

VISA not required for UK citizens visiting Canada, yet this company's website is telling me I need one at a cost of £150.00.!! Please explain. Incorrect information given to travellers. Only ETA needed at a cost of $7. Would'nt even rate this 1 star review if I could. Update 20.7.22 - and look at their response!

Terrible communication, useless service

Terrible communication

After placing the order. Didn't get any email for futher guidance. When I approached them, they asked me to contact my assigned agent which I never got assigned. Wasted two weeks for a process that one of my colleague completed by himself within 5 days.

No clear instruction,

I applied visa using the website. I got mail from them to return the application form. I dont see any application form in the mail attachment. There was a kit in the mail attachment which talk lot about their services but it does not contain any application form. It is confusing. Their customer service number is a premier number( calls will be charged). I sent a mail, but there was no reply from them yet.

Very slow, doesn't reply to emails, passport not returned on time

Very slow turnaround and communication. Didn't get my visa in time. Didn't get my important documents and passport returned on time. This is not acceptable as a professional service. Every email takes min 2 days for a response. There are other providers, avoid this one.

Terrible lack of communication

As part of a work secondment, we chose to use CIBT and paid their fee upfront. However, I heard nothing for a month, had to chase them up myself, at which point they said the process would be expedited due to the lack of communication. One week later, still nothing. So unresponsive and not at all professional as they take money and do nothing.

Bad customer service

Bad customer service. Charge was not clearly. I sent only question about transit to Korea through travel up. I got automatic respond that I don’t need a transit visa and i got charge 25 pound. Website doesn’t state the fee and I didn’t gave them cvc code. How can U charge me with ridiculous price. Even if this is a small amount of money but its not worth fit. I call customer service, i just got answered that they will sent to expert team then never got anything back even i sent three emails with no answer for a month.

Beware , poor service

Beware , it’s a money making cash cow for P&O who recommend this company for making ESTA applications.
There don’t check your applications prior to submitting, so what’s the inflated price for , not a checking service it’s profit.

be really careful with these guys, they easily overcharge you and the concierge service is a complete scam. I arranged a visa for a tourist trip in China and ended up paying 800GBP.
