Overall the best DNA company I have tried
All of the reports are very complete and detailed and the app is well made, I really like the app. If you're looking for health reports this in my opinion is by far the best and my favorite of all the DNA companies I have tried, but if you're looking for a more complete and more detailed ancestry report, this might not be the best choice. At least in my opinion.

Overall great experience but Ancestry not great, no identification of distant relatives
Overall great experience, I love the many reports & details and the app.
These details though, what are tested & reported, could have been shared prior to the purchase. Customers only informed of "500+ reports" but no list of what those are. Customers just have to trust/take a leap of faith that the reports will be relevant & useful.
And no 5 stars because I was disappointed with the Ancestry report; not much detail was provided and no identification of potential distant relatives unlike 23andMe.
Almost 3 stars because of the price, too costly to get the actual value. Anything below Premium doesn't seem to justify purchase, now that I see the Ancestry report to be disappointing.

For our analysis, we use data from various public databases such as GWAS - Genome Wide Association Studies, and the reports in the test are backed by 1000+ scientific publications that are used in generating the interpretations. The references are stated in each of the associated reports.
For certain diseases, we evaluate two types of genetic risk assessment, one is monogenic, in which a single mutation has a strong effect to substantially increase the risk, and the second one is polygenic, in which all associated variants, typically have a small effect individually, are combined into a scoring model to determine your risk. To design the interpretation algorithms, we rely on available scientific evidence, which is rigorously designed and validated within the scientific community, that links genetic variants and scoring models to the traits.
Technologically speaking, we are an ISO 15189 accredited laboratory and our test has been externally validated by the Chinese University of Hong Kong, the Croucher Laboratory for Human Genomics, for analytical accuracy at 99.9%, which refers to how accurate the test detects whether a specific genetic variation is present or not.
Lastly, every trait in our test is determined by a combination of genetic and environmental factors. The degree of genetic contribution could vary by the trait and our test only measures the genetic component. For each report, we do have a confidence score and a list of literature references to indicate how strongly the genetic influence is on the characteristics we analyzed. The score is derived from factors such as the number of genetic mutations, heritability of the conditions and how strongly each of those mutations associates with the conditions based on genome-wide association studies and other scientific / clinical research on the subject.

Overall experience with CircleDNA
I like how they were fast to respond when I had problems sending out my sample. The reports were accurate and were very useful in understanding how my body works. It also helps in planning efficient workouts and the kind of food I should be eating to get the results I want for my body.
