when we arrived, no one there. waited about 30min before some guy that barely spoke english arrived. the car given to us was full of dents and about 20 years old. the engine sounded worn out. there was next to no fuel in there, we weren't sure we'd make it to the nearest petrol station. there was an alarm light on the dashboard. i tried contacting them numerous times, no response.

now, it's more than a month later and i'm still struggling to get my deposit refunded. avoid at all costs. these guys are ripoffs.

was told someone would be waiting for us, and given directions via pdf. directions were very unclear and frustrating, after finally finding the meeting place, there was nobody there. I called the operations number and and asked why they're not here, and to not make excuses, got yelled at that he, the employee on his own initiative, was cancelling my reservation, and hung up on me. called again, told he has no right to cancel a reservation that I already paid for well in advance and to promptly bring the car, same reply and hung up. called front desk and explained the situation, said they would bring the car to us in five minutes. then they called again and made us walk to the car park -- which, upon exit, I had to pay the fees for (they will not do the same on return by the way, they will insist to pick up by the curb).
All the extras (insurance, second driver) add up quickly and you end up paying the same as a more reputable car rental company fee. Everything they do shows you how little they care about the customer. I'll let aside the threats of cancellation for a moment, but they're not willing to pay a 1 euro parking fee at Izmir airport at the cost of making a family of 5 with luggages landing after a 16 hour flight.

Car was very dirty. Not pleasant for family with elderly and kids.

They said they would refund my deposit 2 weeks after return, it has been more than one month and I had to call and message them and it's still not returned.

NOT WORTH THE MONEY YOU THINK YOU WILL BE SAVING. ALSO, YOU WON'T.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Edit: company replied to this asking for case number. As if there is a support system and case number?! Don't make me laugh, don't pretend you care about the customer. I've sent two more messages to their whatsapp line asking about deposit but it wasn't even read.

My current suspicion is: they charge you TL, TL value keeps falling in Turkey. They're converting to USD and delaying as long as they can to pay you back so they can pocket the difference. The people who make it their business model to avoid 1$ parking fee would also absolutely do this. If this was a proper company I shouldn't even have to check whether my deposit has been refunded!

It took three separate calls after we landed for someone to acknowledge and pick us up. Despite being told it would be “meet and greet.” There is no desk or kiosk for pick up or drop off. The transaction takes place in the short term parking lot. I even had to pay the fee for the parking lot upon exit.

The car was advertised as being full of gas at pick up. The car only had a half tank of gas. And they said there was no gas available to fill it up. I had to leave it with the same amount of gas on drop off. Which is inconvenient to try to monitor. The car was still dirty and had trash in it from the previous rental.

At drop off, I had to call from the drop off curb. Had to wait for 20 minutes for them to arrive. The reason for two stars instead of one was that the car was adequate. I would not recommend this company.

No problems and would book again

My second hire from Circular from Izmir. Hand over was efficient, was a couple of hours late and so was responsible for the car parking charge but that was a couple of pounds so no problem.

No problems with the car (intermediate Citroen) over the two weeks I had it. I did manage to incur a couple of toll charges but the hire company never charged me for them and at the end of the hire period there were no charges on my credit company so all was good.

When dropping off the car I did make use of the airport wifi so that I could whatsapp the company to check when they were gong to arrive so that I could hand back the car. They came in about 10 mins so that was fine.

I had three major problems with them.
1) Confirmation email said that they would be waiting us at the terminal. Instead I had to call them and wait for 10 minutes for an agent to arrive. Calling a Turkish number from the UK mobile is extremely expensive.
2) I was booking Fiat Egea or similar, instead I got Hyundai i20, which is a clearly a smaller car. For example, the boot size is 500 litres for the first vs 350 litres for the second.
3) The agent didn't speak any english, it was impossible to explain that they've got us a smaller car. Moreover, I was quoted in euros, which they converted to liras (I would prefer to be quoted in liras straight away), but then on the payment terminal the agent have chosen conversion to gbp by the bank straight away, without checking with me. These conversions are ALWAYS a daylight robbery, and I ALWAYS choose to pay in local currency. I have tried to explain this to the agent, but she didn't understand no word of English. So I ended up paying roughly 50 quid more, loosing on conversion rates.

Don't hire a car from this company, they don't keep promisses and instead take more money then promised. Our car (which doesn't had APK) was broken and we sat half day without a car. Then they gave us another empty from fuel car and promised us to refund us. Instead they wanted us to fully fuel the car and they didn't refund us. So we lost more money then we payed. And if you have contact with Adnan Cch then you are screwed.

Worst company In turkey ever,
First they dont have an office, they just expect you to find the car at the airport, even when you drop it off they expect you to just drop it randomly in the departures zone.
They gave me a 2016 old car that has done 129k miles, the wheels were all worn out and the brake discs were completely gone, one of the headlights wasnt working and they gave me a replacement after an extremely arguative conversation from a rude member of staff, the replacement car while the car they originally gave me is "repaired" was really small and couldn't fit the 4 passengers and all our luggage, on top they wouldn't agree to a refund or a replacement they claimed that the toll charges were free but actually it isn't they make you pay for it from your deposit. Before I forget, they also gave me the car with no petrol and I had to pay a fine because of the headlights and they made ME pay for the repairs on the day I got the car.

For your own good and own sake, AVOID IT. EVEN IF IT WAS COMPLETELY FREE AVOID IT.

I would never booked from this car hire and should be shut down. Car was old no GPS provided. Driver spoke no English and this was done on purpose so they could charge us extra. No deposit refunded till now and ended paying for additional insurance where it was not needed. Now gone silent on me and unable to get my money back. What a ripped off.

Will never book here again.

We saw the bad review but still gave it a try.
First we waited at the airport for the transfer to the agent. Then we waited for the car all together around 2h.
First car had a accident, the car was pulling to the left. We returned and asked for a new one. Second car was also in bad condition. In February with completion worn summer tires. Fuel should be full/full but they gave us the car empty. And tried to scam us with additional fees. We refused.
We agreed to return the car with the same fuel level. After return they charges us with 290YTL.
Overall very bad customer service and bad fleet.

Very bad cars ,old ones and extremely bad customer service .
Will not recommend to any one .

I rented a car on September 9th, 2021 to be received at Istanbul airport, the waiting time was horrible, they don't have a place in the airport like other reputable companies, the delivery back was the same.
but the problem was that, they withdraw 1000 Turkish lira as a guarantee, I took the car for 5 days among them I used the car twice, is it logic to deduct another 1369 lira over the other 1000????? I think I didnt get any fine ... but even though, Is it logic to pay 2369 for 2 days use????

This place has very much caring Customer relation executives . They provided a better car than what I booked initially for a month, a 2020 fiat fiorino. I extended 15 days more without any formalities and it was a pleasure to rent from them with the best price in the market. This is my second good experience with Circular, I strongly suggest.

They made me wait for around 2hrs telling me that the car is coming. I had booked a Mercedes V-Class which has 8seats plus space for luggage. We were a family of 6 adults and 1 toddler traveling and had a lot of luggage too. They showed up after 2hrs of us waiting outside the airport with a 5seat car. When i asked the agent how he expects us to fit in the vehicle he said that this is all they have.
My frustration is that they made me wait and waste 2hours of my vacation time at the airport on arrival. They could have told me up front that the vehicle was not available instead of trying to just get me into the smaller vehicle.
I think that this agent is running a scam and i would recommend against using their services.
When i tried to call the agency number to try and speak to the manager, the agent standing in front of me answers the call. There is no "manager" as far as i can tell as i was unable to speak to one.
I have asked the booking company to provide me a refund and these people havent even replied to the inquiry of the booking company.

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!

Rented a car for my visit to trabzon and sadly they refuced to rent me the car due to my driving license will expire after 2 months and asked wether i can at least get my money back because the rent didnt happen they replied nope no refund ( went inside the airport again and rented a car from avis they had no issue with my driving license i am only in trabzon for 7 days then leaving )

Very very bad experience we booked the care through booking.com they frist told us we need hold money befor we travel then the same night I travel a guy called us and told us he needs more amounts we told him cancel it then he say no ok ok u come then we wait at airport for 1 hurs until they guy arrive the he is asking for 90 euros for full entrance other scam then we give him and agree just for 10 days we rent car the car got 2 mini scratches the guy ask for 80 dollars then we told him we have only 60 dollar he agree and then agine when we return back they took more money from our hood money at cridit card so bad very very cheap customer service and bad never get car from them

Just a few issues:
1. They took 80 euro for full insurance, but later said that it is problem with the bumper(but it was before, I found proof on photo). So make photo of each side and each tire.
2. They also said that I need to pay 80 euro for road tax additionally but not provide any proof. They do not provide any checks too. Bridges and highways are expensive in Turkey. I paid twice because was not informed that I should pay later.

One of the worst experience of renting car through Circular Car Hire as I have rent so many times in all over the world without any issue but this time is the worst due to following issues:-
1) I have booked through American express credit card and prepayment deducted as soon as booking confirmed, but in office they didn't except the card and forced to pay cash !!!
2) force me to pay extra amount as insurance (100 - 500 euro) and will be refunded later if no extra expenses; amount deducted through Visa credit card as American express credit not excepted although it’s the same card I booked the vehicle as mentioned above.
3) Register all details of my credit card (front and back) specially CVV number and I refuse to do but they force me to take all details as its their procedure as they mentioned; I have called my bank later on and they state CVV number not allowed to be taken by anyone except the owner of the card.
4) I received two deduction after around 2 weeks from return the vehicle without full details (as they have all my credit card details including CVV) and currently in process to cancel my credit card due to this reason and from hacking.
5) Locating Supplier’s desk outside the airport and takes a while to communicate to supplier then to go to office outside airport to pick the vehicle.
6) Car Condition; front screen wiper was very poor and was not able to tested once picking due to clear weather, but later while raining and snowing was very very difficult to drive with poor screen wiper.
7) The exchange rate is around 20% higher than everywhere and no way to negotiate as its they procedure as they stated.

*They have malice concept as they don't state all points and policy at the beginning unless the customer payed and open another subject to pay more and more without having choice to reject.

In general I have payed more than what should be with a lot of headache with comparing my previous renting all over the world.
I totally not recommend to rent through this company and till now I am struggling with my credit card as I am receiving deduction and all details they have it including CVV number.

I booked a car through Discover car hire with Circular Car Hire in August 2020 for 3 weeks. The car provided was dirty and in a very poor physical state. I did just do with the car but the icing on the cake came after I returned the car. Circular Car Hire had fraudulently changed the rental agreement paper after I had signed it to add premium insurance and charged my card. This means that my agreement copy is different to the copy they have and I am pursuing a claim through my credit card company. Stay away from these crooks!

Not a good experience at all. Could not find anyone with a board with our name on it on arrival at Dalaman Airport. Eventually located someone but they were holding up someone else's name. Got the vehicle and was told it had a quarter of a tank of fuel only to get in and find the fuel light on and the gauge well past empty. Car itself was in an appalling state, absolutely filthy, not been cleaned at all, not even wiped over. Had to sanitise the vehicle ourselves and the staff member had disappeared in order for us to back the car. Gear stick was ripped and crumbs and debris had gathered, handbrake area was rotten, with food crumbs everywhere. Took us a while to use our own sanitising products to get it to feel a bit cleaner. Air pressure warning symbol was flashing and the car was coughing and chugging. Windscreen cracked. No face mask worn when we dealt with the rep despite it being Turkish law. We have since made a complaint, with photos, to the car hire site we used and I am keeping a close eye on my credit card statement following other comments on here that funds were deducted. Don't try to save money by using these people, if something is too cheap there is always a reason for that and I have learnt a lesson, I just hope its not the hard way by contracting a hefty dose of Covid 19 from the filth of the vehicle.

I wouldn't recommend Circular Car Hire. Have to wait in airport up to 1h on arrival and even on departure. The car was not that I've reserved.

The car was in bad condition:
- dirty inside;
- missing right windscreen wiper;
- broken/stick trunk, unable to open it (have to use rear seats for bags during all rent period);
- vibration on breaking;
- overall car condition is bad.

NEVER RENT HERE.
