Citadines Connect Fifth Avenue New York

Citadines Connect Fifth Avenue New York

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST! We felt totally scammed, shelling out an extra $600 for a minuscule room! They claimed to give us a 'staff discount,' but turns out, we ended up paying more than their regular rate! We stayed for 5 nights and were hit with a whopping $1900 bill, while the same room was advertised on booking.com for just $1300! When we asked for a refund or at least a price match, they brushed us off, saying, "Sorry, that's just our rate for today." What kind of policy is that?! And don't get me started on the manager – their response was downright awful. Save your hard-earned cash and stay elsewhere! There are plenty of honest hotels in the area that won't try to rip you off like these guys!

Wake up and smell the (free) Coffee

We were made very welcome from the moment we walked through the door. The staff at the Citadines Islington were great and the fact you can help yourselves to real coffee in the lounge area 24/7 is a big bonus too...... we had a room on the 1st floor which was immaculately clean and fresh a nice bathroom and kitchenette and also a lovely view of the garden....definite must try it you won't forget it

【Deduct deposits without evidence and taking photos of my personal belongings without consents】
I stayed from Sept 2021 to June 2022, After checked out, At first they say they never collect a deposit, but after emailing for over a week after checked out, Citadine Trafalgar Square deduct £800 of my £1400 deposit for “floor replacing” without providing any evidence, avoid this place please. I left the room in a good state and because it is a long stay, I specifically ask the room service the state of my room and they say it is fine for check out, I have photos to back me up with this. I will file complains about this matter until this is fully investigated.

*Update* When I ask for photos and evidence, they send me pictures at least two weeks ago from the check out date, which at the time it was messy. But most importantly I never consent them to enter my room to take pictures and I don't have room service and this is scary for anyone who is living in there right now.

Carbon monoxide alarm all night!!!

We stayed at Citadines Barbican and it was horrible!! We were a bridal party who booked 2 apartments. Upon arrival we were told that 1 of the apartments wasn’t available so we’d be in rooms instead. We were then told that the breakfast included in our package wasn’t open.
We got ready and the carbon monoxide alarm began to sound off. We were told there’s no other rooms so we had to just try and sleep (to much avail). The staff were not sure how to deal with the issues. Wouldn’t recommend!!!!!!

Citadines Regency Hotel Saigon Vietnam

The Citadines Regency. If you are considering travelling to Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) then I can recommend this new hotel (8 months) Citadines, a French word for "city-dweller. Located in a very convenient / quiet district3 which is primarily a financial area and within walking distance of the War Museum, Notre Dame Cathedral of Saigon, and the old American Embassy. This hotel offers many various types of rooms/studios/apartments, so ideal for long-term stays also. A 15M pool and an additional smaller one on the roof, with a Sauna and changing rooms/showers. A well equipped GYM also on the 12th floor and a self-service laundry with washers and driers. There is also of course a traditional laundry service. The rooms are well equipped with Iron/Board, Fridge, Kettle and free coffee sachets and powered milk. A good size safe for laptops/iPads. Same with the bathrooms, which have large showers. Very unusual and a very useful a water heater switch. This allows you to heat up your own water for wash basin & shower, yourself, if it is not hot enough! I have never come across this before. Breakfast is charged at 180,000 VD which is a fair price given what you can choose from. Free WIFI for multiple devices. The cheapest room is around $80 per night. and although there are much cheaper hotels nearby ($26-56 per night) none would give you the range of facilities and high standards that the Citadines regency does. There is a bank just opened at the front of the hotel building with 2 ATM's and Tipoa Car Hire ( self-drive rental cars) have opened just across the road. (tipoa.vn). All in all an excellent hotel, with free parking.
