Enquiry of Universal credit

Rung the above company this afternoon, Thursday 17th July '25, and i spoke to a lovely guy called Tom, he was an Absolute legend, He was very Patient with us and understanding, he's a credit to your company, he helped me with filling in the information regarding Universal credit, I genuinely didn't have a scooby, and thanks to him he was very reassuring and managed to get an appointment to hopefully get some cash because I'm not working a t m in my company.... so I appreciate his help, I would have done it through their company link but I never got anything.. thanks again for your help with this.... Amber 👍 💯% Customer Service, #CAB, 😊

We were offered a chance to chat with…

We were offered a chance to chat with an advisor . We sat in front of fire doors in a store cupboard and she judged us . A heater was propped up by a parcel tape ? She also ignored me saying SA four times . How seemingly rude and arrogant she was and judged us . No help or real talk just a flustered woman who ignores . Plus stays quiet at the health and safety within her work place .

Fraudster working within the company company

Please don't use or ring they have a employee harinder Bahia who is under investigation by the police for fraud and money laundering yet she still works for the company as debt advisor who gets clients personal details and then uses them for her own financial benefit...

No disabled access

No disabled access, particularly in Cupar. Used to be good when it first started. But like most things now are not good.you have to wait on phone for an hour, too.

Citizen advice bureau over two week I…

Citizen advice bureau over two week I am trying to contact them ,I call them the phone ring ring ,then they told you to put in your postcode after the automatic service said that they don't recognize the postcode ,then they will tell enter a post code like you GP post code the same thing happen ,you will hold that phone line and it just take you around in circle ,the government website said you can use them, however they don't fit for purpose ,I really don't know why still have this service and notional help line is the same as well. disgusting and waist a time,

These clowns have failed me with help with debt from trafford manchester to Stoke on trent. They ask you for relevant information you send it to them and they reply 7 to 10 days later then they ask for it in PDF format. 10 days ago was ask once again for bank statements which I already sent I have sent so much information to these to get a email on 24th July 2024 to say they closing my account down as I not reply back to them . I'm sure they don't know what they doing as I had problem with manchester in the beginning these need to be reported for there unprofessional manner

BAD FOLLOW-UP COMMUNICATION, AND NO ANSWER ON PHONE LINES.

I called on March 19th, actually got an answer after 34mins. The lady was VERY helpful.

She said they will refer me for an appointment and someone would call me back within the next couple of days from a withheld number.

Someone actually called me back THE NEXT DAY 20th March! GREAT!

...but I was at work so couldn't talk long. She had an appointment booked for me some time in April a couple of weeks away.

She asked if I'd like the details now, OR should she text the details to me. I said text please, due to me being at work, thank you. She was very helpful too!

BUT it is now 26th March and NO TEXT! i NEED TO KNOW WHEN MY APPOINTMENT IS!
IT TAKES WAY TOO LONG FOR CAB TO ANSWER PHONES TO THEN ALSO NOT SEND DETAILS OF PEOPLE'S APPOINTMENTS - to either my EMAIL or TEXT like I specified in the initial call i made.

I have been calling this company for days on and off. Then today for hours after work from 1:25pm to 3:34pm I was on hold, for total 3hrs 15mins only to be automatically cut off at around 4:05pm then again at 5pm!

You have to ring for at least 30/40mins before you get an answer and EVEN THEN getting an answer is not guaranteed.

Before i start when the citizens advice…

Before i start when the citizens advice bureau was set up it was an INDEPENDENT bureau that gave free independent useful advice to people who needed it ,I am 65 and have volunteered at the cab because it relays on volunteers or used to but now it is no longer independent I recently needed to talk to the cab Plymouth this was adviced to me by my social worker and the energy ombudsman as I was having several issues with EDF energy basic ally disregarding the ombudsman's decisions so I contacted cab for advice by it was very quickly obvious that the advisor on the phone was not independent and not a volunteer intact she got very defensive when I quiered this matter so as for free far independent advice I would steer clear of the cab as it may still have charitable claims these are now false there was no real real life advice received or any help i am on at at risk register for health ground (no interest) low income fixed ( no interest)was hoping for a light at end of tunnel (nothing offered ) as previously stated I used to be a volunteer at cab and we were impartial nothing like this paid for advisor

Liars Available for Free

I had a liar from the Law Society deliberately misinform me about the matter I had contacted them about.
To compound this they then informed me that the Illegal Ombudsman would be able to assist with a query about a will when they should have known that they do not deal with wills.
I appreciate that they are a charity, but this does not give them free licence to be liars.

A great telephone experience that got me absolutely the right information. You have a great taxonomy for reference. Its never easy going into a dispute but the information and suggestions were spot on and gave me confidence - Shout out to Shaun. I know I’ve conveyed the right points in the right way because even on the same day the company responded with multiple calls and mails, after weeks of mostly silence. Needed a customer shake-up, very formally. Thanks CAB. Brilliant.

Thank you for nothing Wakefield branch....
The staff is rood and rushed. They do nothing at all to help people find work or anything else really, despite their website saying otherwise. Visited them but definitely never again! They just collect every single personal sensible data they can without any result what's so ever, wasting people's time to get paid!
Same as all the UK's gov institutions!

My review is for Wakefield branch. The staff is rood and rushed. They do nothing at all to help people find work despite their website saying otherwise. Visited them 3 times with different issues. Never again! They just wasted my time time and frustrated my disabled wife. Why are these people paid! This organisation is same as all the UK's gov institutions! Absolutely all ! No exceptions..... What a joke......

What went right this time

What went right this time? they don't even answer the phone. Is there really any help out there for the people or are the government just pretending there is but make it that difficult to source that people quite literally give up. Disgraceful.

Citizens advice bureau hero's

I visited my local branch of the citizens advice bureau in Carshalton Surrey. From the outset I was made to feel welcome and relaxed by Samantha. I was very nervous to talk about my debt problems and despite my best efforts I ended up getting very emotional. At no point was I ever made to feel silly or that this was an inconvenience. Samantha spent 2 1/2 hrs helping me. No stone was left unturned. There is still more work to be done in my case but I left there feeling like I will finally get my life back. If you are thinking of going don't hesitate please do it. They really want to help you.

Visited King's Lynn C.A.B.on two…

Visited King's Lynn C.A.B.on two occasions.Very disappointed with help they were supposed to give.I was told to keep ringing the government department I was trying to contact in my own time-I thought the C.A.B.staff would carry more clout and that is why I visited them in the first place.Plus the fact when you ring regarding making an appointment you can never speak to anyone-you just get sidetracked.Will not bother again a waste of time travelling to see them.

We have no bureau in our local area so called another area with a women that huffed the whole time telling me I need to go to my area and kept telling me where I lived I know where I live but the area is no longer open so you are stuck I'm fed up with rude people and no help
