It was nice, staff was nice

My two daughters and I really enjoyed the experience offered by Alcatraz city cruises. We took the boat over to Alcatraz Island. Boarding and on boarding was super easy. There was plenty of room on the boat. Which means they don’t overcrowd it. The staff were very friendly. It was well worth the money we paid for the tickets.

I was scammed. I was tricked into thinking my legit ticket wouldnt work as i was a few minutes late. He said there would not be any more ferries for a few hours, unless I upgraded. I was tricked into buying an 'upgrade', and he told me that I would automatically get a refund within a few days. Which is not true, as it would not be the same company. I specifically said we wanted to go to Ellis Island, and I was given a ticket that did not include that. I was also overcharged. I very quickly realised the scam and was able to use my original ticket, which was still valid. There is a lot more detail I could go into, but I have illustrated my point. The result was that I took out a case against Revolut and won. If there were the option to give zero, I would. This company should be investigated for taking advantage of tourists.

The times to get on and off the shuttles are very long, so we lose a lot of time especially when we only have a few days to visit this beautiful city.

My first time to NYC. I had such a fabulous time. One of my bucket lists spots was to see the Statue of Liberty. City Experiences personnel were easy to speak with, and very friendly. Next time I visit, I will definitely use them to visit Lady Liberty again.

I had visited Alcatraz on my honeymoon 55 years ago, I love that it is now a National Park. The Park Ranger gave an interesting talk & the free audio guide was wonderful

What made it great was being able to take my grandson to see the Statue of Liberty. The security check at the start of the trip before you got on the boat was quicker than I expected. The wait outside for the boat could really use some kind of big umbrellas or a canopy. Itvwas 90 some degrees out and the area has no cover. It was blistering in the beating sun. Getting on the boat was orderly but the departure off of it should be more organized. You have alot of people getting off and alot of people pushing and shoving because it's not orderly. Reminded me of a cow stampede. Once at the Statue the check point guard was rude. The purses we had were small, just big enough for essentials money, credit cards, sun glasses. He made us get out of line and get a locker because he didn't like the shape of them. They were shaped similar to a back pack shape but were very small leather purses. Was not happy that we had to wait in line all over again, especially when we saw him let people in with bigger bags and purses then we had. Also a spot that could use a canopy for sun. We really enjoyed the Statue itself and the museum.

We purchased both Ellis Island and Statue crown tour package. The ticket purchase, and arrival at location was easy. The Tour started off well and Ellis Island was interesting. We arrived at the Statue, climbed several levels only to be told we couldn’t go onto the Crown. Very disappointed especially since we didn’t get to see what we paid for. No refund, but they should offer a a return visit discount coupon.

The information about the visit are clear, the transport by the boat is safely and nicely, Liberty Statue Island is good organised and easy to visit

Despite being way early to our time slot, security let us in since it´s been a general admission ticket.
Security check was very fast and very friendly.
Without even noticing, we got on the first ferry to Liberty Island at 9 a.m.
Great expierience!
Do not take the staten island ferry! Do the real thing!
Everyone visiting NYC for the first time should go to the statue of liberty!
